Dr. Caryn Anne Libbey, MD

Dr. Libbey's broad knowledge of anatomy and pathology provides her with an equally broad approach to helping her patients manage a host of issues, beyond the scope of the rheumatological. In my 69 years I've never met physician whose abilities surpasses hers. Succinctly put, this clinician 'rocks'!

Best Dr. ever. Never ever rushes you. Have been her patient for 36 years. Other Dr. s should take a page out of her book. Hope she never retires.

First impressions are always the most lasting. I showed up early to fill out paperwork/register to an empty office, bringing additional paperwork from prior appointments for the Dr. to review. Paperwork completed, I asked for a key to use the restroom (down the hall), returning to find two men in suits (I'll get to them in a moment), who I had to step over to get back into the waiting area. Office manager had me come into a room to obtain base lines, weight, height, and literally fumbled around for a few minutes with two blood pressure cuffs, not seeming to know how to work either one, letting me know...jokingly that she was "having a rough morning." Once she figured out which one to use and it was affixed to my arm to take the reading, she wrenched it around, literally pulling out hair from my arm, exclaiming "oh, how sensitive" to me reacting to the pain. When she exited the room, I could audibly hear her exclaim, "Jesus!" under her breath. So, I'm waiting....and waiting, and I hear… the Dr. coming down the hall, who was interrupted by the two suits who initiated conversation with her to cold call about the latest in pharmacy what-ever they were selling. I left. My time is just as valuable as yours is Dr., had I known in advance that your practice is not geared towards patient needs, I would have reached out to another Rheumatologist.

I have been treated by Dr. Libbey for approximately 18+ years. I had foot problems and went to a podiatrist, had surgery on my toes not knowing the underlying cause of my foot problems was RA. My primary care Dr. sent me to Dr. LIbbey because my SED rate was elevated, not excessively.... I went to Dr. Libbey, she lloked at my labs and then ordered xrays of my feet. When I went back to her for the results Dr. Libbey was very compassionate about the damage to my feet - my bones were eroding, she explained that I had little holes like mice were eating away at my bones. She started me on the appropriate treatment right away and we later had to move to biologics to get my disease under control. It has been mainly under control ever since. When I do have any kind of question or need help with anything she is always there for me. Can't say enough good things about the care I have received.

Dr. Libbey is a wealth of information and a very caring and knowledgeable physician. Loved her and definitely will return to my next appt.

I walked into her office with lot of anxiety and came out feeling like a new person!! I was recommended to see her by my eye doctor that morning.As soon as I called the office i was greeted very nicely by the receptionist and given an appointment the same afternoon. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who collected all the records i had brought with me. I felt very much at ease sitting for few minutes waiting for the doctor to come and see me. Dr. Libbey asked me a few questions and listened to what I had gone through over the past several weeks with tremendous patience. It was amazing !! I connected with her and she was able to put the pieces of the puzzle together to a great extent. I will see her again on follow up soon. I was treated like a human being with feelings with respect and kindness. She is a" true good doctor " in my book.

Knowledgable, compassionate, has a down to earth approach, treats you as a whole person. Answers questions and imparts information clearly and patiently.

Dr Libbey is thorough, she took time to answer all my questions, and gave me options for treatment and follow-up.

I was in a very confusing stage, I had been diagnosed with Lupus and a blood clotting disorder and fibromyalgia, yet left with tons of questions. Dr. Libbey looked over all of the information I brought with me and then answered in detail all of my questions. I look forward to getting more answers and start of better understanding my health and moving forward with her help! Amazing Dr. and her nurse is also very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful!

DR LIBBY WAS THE MOST INCREADIBLE DR I HAVE EVER HAD EVEN UNTIL THIS DAY. I WISH I COULD TAKE HER WITH ME AS I HAVE TRAVELED THE US. SHE UNDERSTOOD ME, WORKED WITH ME AND WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME!
