Dr. Caryn Lynne Silver, MD

Dr. Silver is too busy to effectively manage her patient load. She leaves 90% of your visit to her assistant. She only allows 15 minutes for a visit and is in the room about 3 to 4 minutes. I have asked questions about my care and she says, "We'll talk about that later." I need real time information and it causes me stress and worry because she cannot be bothered due to her time limits.

VERY unfeeling doctor. She cares more about looking 'sexy' in her new outfits (yes, we patients listen to what goes on next door and the jokes with the nurses). That image was perpetuated as Dr. Silver and her PA basically did not listen to my father's ideas as my mother died of so-called pancreatic cancer. She needs to wake up and smell the flowers.

I came to Dr. Silver after finishing breast cancer treatment in Virginia - she has done my followup care for about 2 years. I find her warm, caring, very knowledgeable and concerned about me and my overall health. I would highly recommend her to friends and family.

Dr. Silver has been my cancer doctor for four years, and I could not ask for anyone more professional and caring. Also, her entire staff is friendly, competent and personable.

Dr. Silver was my Oncologist for thirteen years and I found her and her staff to be extremely compassionate and professional. Her empathy far exceeded my expectations. She spent quality time with me during each appointment answering all my questions with grace and courteous. I highly recommend her. Dr. Silver is a blessing to have in this profession where she devotes her time to such a tough line of medicine.

Caryn (as she prefers to be called)is a wonderful person and great doctor. She and her staff are extremely caring and passsionate about their work. She called me at home after my first chemo treatment to see how I was doing. She made going through chemotherapy and losing my hair bearable.

I was dreading this appointment. Having a follow up appointment regarding breast cancer can be a very daunting experience. Dr. Silver immediately put me at ease. She was professional and I felt a comfortable connection with her right away. I found Dr. Silver and her entire staff wonderful. I walked out with a smile on my face.
