Dr. Cassandra Marie Sams, MD

We brought our 5 year old son in for a follow up ultrasound for enlarged lymph nodes. We are a family with a history of pediatric cancer so enlarged lymph nodes are not something we take lightly. When I asked for information about our son’s ultrasound Dr. Sams acted as if it was an “inconvenience” to her. She was rude and condescending when spoke to me and seemed as if taking the 2 minutes she spent giving us this information been a major disruption to her day. This was by far the opposite of just about every experience we have had in the 4+ years we have spent regularly dealing with multiple different doctors, nurses, and varying staff of all kinds at Hasbro Children’s Hospital even down to the amazing valet crew, who quiet honestly surpass this doctor’s personality and attitude ten fold.
