Dr. Cassandra Ann Workman, MD

Dr Workman failed in the greatest degree from helping my daughter with severe anorexia. Dr. Workman helps those that she defines in her own personal values, instead of her oath of helping patients where they are at and her medical oath to providing care free of her discrimitive values. We are filing a complaint with the State Board. BEWARE of Dr. Workman. I am shocked by what she did to my daughter. She treats only selective eating disorders that she can define on what is right and wrong and what is suffering and what is not. She should NOT be practicing medicine under the oath she took when she was licensed. It breaks my heart for patients that need help that have their own definition of their journey and NOT what Dr. Workman sets up a who she will and won’t treat. She is a disgrace for the medical community and a threat to ill patients needing help.

I feel conflicted in my review; if I am honest about how thorough, compassionate, and professional is Dr. Cassandra Workman, then her new patients will organically find her and soon agree with me that she is a one-stop shop for family medicine. She is the best kept secret in personal wellness. And if everyone knows about how great she is, I might have to wait a day to get an appointment on her schedule. I’ve never had to wait, and this puts me in a precarious position, this vulnerability of the advantage of knowing the best in medicine. But at the risk of losing my spot in line, I have to tell the truth: Dr. Cassi is the finest physician I’ve ever had. I love her so much that I’ll let you cut in front of me, fellow patient. Why? Because I know that I know - she will see us individually, meet your needs and mine, with compassion, efficiency, and anonymity. So I can give you this most honest recommendation, knowing she will have time to see me, too. I have trusted her with my life -… and the lives of my children. And you know this momma bear doesn’t mess around. All the gold stars for Dr. Cassandra Workman.

Inexperienced, not able to understand the detail of the disease and illness. Does not like to asked questions and does not seem to be empathic or caring about the patient.

She is very rude and horrible attitude. She does not like to listen to the patient.

Dr. Workman is young and relatively inexperienced. She spent a good deal of time during one appointment texting her husband regarding who was taking her son to a soccer game. She was dressed in cowboy boots, a short denim skirt, and a sports jersey. She seems to make up her mind about diagnosis and treatment before I even finish a sentence. I've been a runner for over 15 years and lately have had some issues with my hip. When I expressed how important it was for me to get outside and run, and that I was concerned wouldn't be able to anymore, she advised that I take up cards. It seemed as if she thought I was elderly (I'm 56). She is quick to prescribe lab tests and referrals, but doesn't follow up. I've been a patient at this office for over 20 years, and seen a steady decline in patient respect and service since Dr. Pechacek became ill and stopped practicing and her wonderful PA left. Despite my long history with this office, they don't recognize me. The office staff is abrupt and… dismissive. They have not adopted any contemporary practices such as online records. They also refuse to see any patients on government assistance. Save yourself the trouble and find a practice with doctors and staff who actually put patients first.

I started seeing Dr. Workman in 2012 after my husband's retirement. We had been with Kaiser for over 26 years. I was amazed how much time Dr. Workman spent with me at my first visit, and how I genuinely felt heard. She discovered a health problem during my first year and she has been wonderful at guiding me through this and providing me with excellent care. She is kind, patient and makes you feel you have a say in your health care. I praised her so much my daughter is now seeing her as well. After years of having care where you are just a number, Dr. Workman is like a breath of fresh air. I have never had to wait at the office and all calls are returned promptly. I highly recommend!!!
