Summary
In 1998, Dr. Cassia Portugal started First Choice Pediatrics in a small office next to the Winter Park Hospital. The overwhelming success of returning patients motivated Dr. Portugal to expand her practice by the year 2000. She needed more space, and so she relocated the practice to our main location on Semoran Boulevard. Her next endeavor was to extend services to patients in the Sanford area and opened a new office on Medical Plaza Drive in 2005. With the success of her first two offices she decided to add two more locations in 2012; Alafaya and Metrowest. First Choice Pediatrics now has eleven board certified physicians practicing at all four locations in the Orlando and Sanford areas.
