Her energy, work ethic and enthusiasm is infectious and makes me want to work even harder and achieve more with my life. She also has the greatest intuition and knows when I need more support. Dr Blair always goes above and beyond to meet my clinical needs and help me refocus on what’s most important in life, my mental health and being productive and positive. With my severe personality disorders it is hard for me to have stable relationships. Instead they end in chaos, drama and disaster which… compounds my traumas and makes my life so much worse. Dr Blair helps me see who I am and how my maladaptive behaviors and thought processes are the reason why I create the destruction. With the amazing intensity Dr Blair has so much insight into who I am and helps me see the way I go about relationships and working with people is counterproductive. I came to Blair Wellness Group when my life was spiraling out of control and all of the self medicating and addictive behaviors were getting worse. I didn't have one normal healthy relationship as I was sabotaging them all and creating fires and disasters everyday. I was failing talk therapy and was just increasing the amount and dosage of my medications. I knew I needed a change. When I found Dr Blair I knew this was going to be different. I was at a point in my life were drastic times called for drastic measures. Finding this type of intensive program where I needed to change everything about my life and put my mental health first was a godsend. Dr Blair created structure in my life and helped me have stability that I never had before. By spending my time working on myself and looking at who I am, I had less time to focus on everyone else and my addictions. Dr Blair has always been there for me going above and beyond to meet my clinical needs. The hardest aspect has been being sober… since I have been a severe addict and junkie my entire life. This is why I need a structured environment where I also feel safe and secure. Dr Blair uses every type of treatment modality and allows me to look at my maladaptive thought processes and see that I am the common denominator in all of my failed relationships. I have trust issues from past traumas and have always been closed off and reticent to open up to someone that isn’t telling me whatever I want to hear. That all changed when I met Dr Blair. She is the most straightforward, caring and devoted therapist. She is dedicated to results and uses every type of treatment modality as well as her own love and care. When I am failing and falling off, she is the person to keep me motivated and gets me back on track. Her work ethic is the one the most amazing I have ever seen. Working with Dr Blair has been the most transformative experience. The greatest difference with Dr Blair is that she focuses on attachment by being the most caring, trustworthy and devoted therapist. When I came to treatment my life was completely spiraling out of control and I had no stability. Dr Blair was able to help me sort through the problems so that we could work on positive solutions. As an addict I use most things in my life to be addicted to and get a high from. It could be shopping, traveling, drinking, video games or any of a number of things that I use to never have to sit with myself and just be. Dr Blair has helped me see that all I am doing is creating more chaos and drama in my life so that I can also use that as source of stimulation. Treating addictions is very challenging unless you are going to be someone that is completely committed and dedicated to being a support, guide, role model and also a mature professional presence that is always there. Dr Blair always goes above and beyond and is the support and rock that I have always needed in my life. She has the greatest intuition and knows when I need more support and care. Being part of an intensive practice where she gets to understand my thoughts, actions and behaviors daily is the impetus for absolute trust. The interventions and treatment modalities that she possesses and implements is what has saved… me from so many self destructive behaviors. Having her in my life is like truly having a guardian angel that helps me navigate the world and see my distortions and maladaptive thought processes. The altruism and devotion is unlike anything I have ever seen and it is the reason for any substantive change in my life. Her commitment makes me want to want to work even harder and achieve more than I ever thought was possible. I cant imagine where I would be if I was not a part of Blair Wellness Group and didn't have Dr Blairs heart in my life. It would be a lot more lonely and dark with a lot of wasted time and mind numbing activities. She teaches me to stimulate my mind the right way and be productive and positive with my life. Her guidance and the structure she has helped me create has made all of the difference. Traditional psychotherapy was not going to work for me as I also have severe addictions and needed a complete change to my life.
