If I could give zero stars I would. He botched my lower blepharoplasty, leaving my eyes droopy, asymetrical, canthus (corners) pulled down and very scarred. He should not be allowed to perform this surgery. He was uncaring and critical of me after my surgery, KNOWING that he botched my beautifully shaped eyes. He didn't even remove all the fat under one eye. He's scary. Go to anyone but Cassidy Mitchell.

Dr. Mitchell only did 1/2 the surgery that he was paid to do and rushed through that and sent me home with a blood clot, which thankfully my husband got me to the emergency room, where he had to do surgery again. Now I am left with those hospital bills to pay for. Tried to repair in office which wouldnt have needed to be done if he’d done the other half of surgery in the first place. Now that looks terrible! Very bad experience that i have to live with on top of the emergency room bills im still paying for.

Dr. Mitchell performed surgery on me to correct another well known plastic surgeon’s “botched” job, which left me disfigured and extremely unhappy for years. I was told by my initial plastic surgeon that that he had given me the best result I could ask for after multiple visits to attempt to address my very visible disfigurement. I finally went to visit Dr. Mitchell for ‘consultation. He immediately pointed out the areas of concern that I had and discussed how he would fix them with revision surgery. I opted to have surgery, and six months later I have to say that my result is spectacular! My deformities are gone and my self-confidence has greatly improved! He is a caring, compassionate, and technically gifted plastic surgeon. The staff is wonderful as well! Many thanks Dr. Mitchell!

I have been to many doctors spanning my whole life -- I'm a below knee amputee and have other health problems. I've had great doctors with no bed side manner and doctors with excellent bedside manner with no real medical advice. I can tell you that this truly the worst doctor I have ever seen. Not only was there no bedside manner, there was no medical treatment options or next steps expressed -- I was wasting his time despite needing medical treatment and being referred by medical professionals. I strongly advise you not to see this doctor as you will not get any answers even though you ask him questions -- a complete joke!!! I hope he learns as he is a complete mess and an embarrassment to his patients.

Not sure why I was referred to a plastic surgeon after going to the ER at Bryan West for a fractured hand. Clearly he didn't read the addendum to ER records from a Radiologist. Should stick to being a plastic surgeon which I'm sure he is good at...he has that disposition. Felt judged for my injury.

I would recommend Dr. Cassidy to anyone. Omg I cried when I woke up and seen what he did for me. I have a friend who had the same procedure with a different Surgeon and was scared it was going to look like hers and he insured it was going to be nothing like hers. He talks to you and answers all your questions. He's not the Dr thatbjustbcomes in seed you and then put he goes. He takes his time. All his Staff was awesome. Stacey and Chelsea are 2 of the nurses that took care of me the most. The best care ever. His staff are all awesome too in his office. I'm super satisfied. Thank you Dr Cassidy..

DR Mitchell was very cautious and alert when assisting me in my medical condition. Years ago a different clinic here in Lincoln diagnosed me with Hidradenitis suppurativa (on both inner thighs). They told me that a lifetime of anti-biotics and using two different types of soap with showers twice a day for the rest of my life would "address the issue" and breakouts. After many years of pain, breakouts and pitted scarring later, I decided to seek medical attention and found DR Mitchell online. I called his office who promptly and immediately was able to bring me in for a consultation of my issue. He took time to hear about my thoughts on the issue and my suggestions of what I wanted to do to take care of it (either skin removal or skin grafting). DR Mitchell then evaluated the situation, and together, we came up with a very clear procedure to get this addressed with the most minimal scarring. I know I probably was not asking the correct questions, but felt like there was missing… information prior to surgery that I needed to know. The surgery seemed to go well. Although I was in alot of pain with the drainage tubes that were in both of my legs from surgery. I ended up staying in the hospital another 4 days because of those darn things - more for pain control and convenience. DR MItchell and his office was very good about followups since the surgery and was easy to get a hold of along the healing process. I'm sure my lack of "healing knowledge" may have been frustrating to him, but anytime I was paranoid about a stitch, or a wound not healing fast enough, he made time for me to come into the office, checked things out thoroughly and made sure all was OK. He was definitely faced with something that I could tell would be a challenge for him to handle, but I think he did awesome with my specific situation. 10 months later, I am celebrating NO Breakouts! The wounds I thought would never heal are completely healed up. I am very happy with the outcome of how it was handled. On the downside, there were 2 things about this experience that worried me the most. The first, is that the surgery I ended up with, was NOT the actual surgery procedure that we had discussed before hand. Sadly, during surgery, DR Mitchell was faced with a hard decision to make and made it. Initially, he was going to make small incisions to each breakout / pitted area to remove the disease from my skin, and close with small stitching. When I woke from surgery, I found this was not the case. DR Mitchell had made about an 8" incision on each inner thigh and just removed the entire gap of diseased skin on both sides. I was terrified when I found this out, I was not expecting this at all. But, I know WHY he did this, and I am grateful. A heads up would've been nice but, he made a decision that would best benefit ME. He knew his original plan would possibly bring me back into surgery months later for the same thing. What he did was a better assurance that I would never have breakouts again, and this is EXACTLY what I wanted! The second thing that scared me, was the lack of information that I could suffer possible nerve damage in the surgical areas. I have numbness around my long scars (so it tickles ALOT when I shave my legs near my scars) This freaks me out, but I am starting to think this was un-avoidable. Again, another heads up would've been nice. Overall, I am glad that he did what he did. I am SOOOO HAPPY to not have anymore annoying breakouts and I am PROUD of the scars I have! (which healed up nicely I think) They are much better than what used to be there and now I can make up any battle scar story I want to show them off (and I do!) Overall, good random pick of a surgeon to assist me. I am thankful he was very supportive, attentive and honest to take care of my ultimate medical goal and expectations. Thank you Sir. :)
