Dr. Catalina T Aranas, MD

She is no longer concerned with her patients, it is as if she is going thru the motions. There is no follow up in that office. If you miss your mammogram, no one cares and if you have results from one it could take weeks to hear results or never. I think she is lost with the new computer systems.

Been with her for over 20 years and she is wonderful!! Delivered both of my boys.

Dr. Aranas delivered three of my children. The last delivery her care fell short. I felt as though I had to make deals with her. She pushed my care off and onto other doctors at Maternal Fetal Medicine (who I would never recommend). I feel that she has lost her interest in delivering babies. Her passion is just not there. I really believed that she was a wonderful doctor but this last delivery proved me wrong.

I immediately felt her care and concern; her office is impecably clean, staff well trained, I've had no wait time, even when an emergency. She has WONDERFUL bedside manners and understands WOMEN. I will recommend her to anyone who has a need for a great doctor. Blessings!

Dr. Aranas has been my Dr. for over 10 years. She delivered my second child and has helped me over the years deal with different physical ailments always considering my needs and desires when offering treatment options. I trust her judgment and experience. She has a great bedside manner, but still tells me everything I need to know. There is never a long wait in her office and I'm in and out without issue.

I thought my first appointment went relatively well and didn't understand the "bad" reviews I had read about her other places- then came my next appointments. It took four full days to see me for an "urgent" appointment (not emergency). The urgent appointment was scheduled due to an issue I was having that turns out- came up in my FIRST appointment pap but the office never called to tell me or follow up with me about! The office staff was cold and uncaring and when they wanted to change my heartbeat appointment around for the FOURTH time, I protested saying my husband had wanted to be there for the appointment and my protests were met with a sigh and an eye roll and a short "fine" and not another word the rest of my appointment. Office is insanely hard to get a hold of and you can expect to reach their answering service even during times when they should be in the office and even after you've received a call from the office staff asking you to return their call as soon as possible. The… two appointments after my first were rushed and very impersonal. This isn't my first child and I don't need someone to explain every detail or tell me it's all rainbows and butterflies- but being treated as more than a number and having issues addressed promptly and thoroughly is NEVER to much to ask from a doctor. I'm thankful I've found someone else to see me for the remaining 20 weeks of this pregnancy!

I would not recommend her to anyone! Her knowledge seems outdated and she has never read my charts before seeing me. This is my first pregnancy and she never asked me if I had any symptoms or how I felt. Dr.Aranas seems as if she has lost her passion and interest for her patients. Maybe it's time for her to retire or to update her knowledge on current medical practice. Just because she has years of experience doesn't make a great doctor, a great doctor keeps up with the most recent medical changes.

Columbus is so fortunate to have Dr. Aranas!! I have moved away from the area (my home); and I STILL consider her my doctor -- even though I have not seen her in years. Very professional staff and office environment.

Dr. Aranas is the very best woman doctor in Columbus, Georgia. I recommed her to anybody. She is awesome!
