Her scheduler doesn't know what she is talking about! Needs better staff. Also she told her scheduler to tell me I should go to my PCP first before seeing her. After I was seen at the emergency room and urgent care and they both gave a referral for neurologist. She tells me that she doesn't take referrals from urgent or emergency so I should go to my PCP. My PCP is going to refer me right back to her. They make no sense. I just found me another neurologist that actually wants to help patients. Don't waste your time with these people. Find a neurologist that is not going to just ignore your needs

Dr Alessi told my Son (who is a 19 year old above the knee amputee) that he would never get feeling back in his right hand after being diagnosed with Radial Palsy (which is a temporary loss of feeling in an extremity). She only conducted 1 out of 3 necessary tests and then told him there was no other options and that the next step is to start occupational therapy. Feeling in his hand DID come back. She caused an enormous amount of mental anguish and emotional pain for my son and all of us who love him. He fought Bone cancer and lost his leg as a teenager. To be told he would never have use of his right hand was devastating. DO NOT use this Doctor. She should not be practicing Medicine or conducting any type of nerve test.
