Catherine Boomus, MD, MPH, FACOEM

Dr. Boomus serves as the Medical Director overseeing Bell, Escanaba and Marquette occupational medicine services, which includes all aspects of the relationship between workplace factors and health, such as evaluating and treating workplace injuries and illnesses and rendering opinions as to the work-relatedness of a medical condition.Dr. Boomus received a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Michigan Technological University before earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University. She completed her occupational and environmental medicine residency and also earned a Master of Public Health degree at the University of California Los Angeles, and is a fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine."I feel very passionate about preserving and improving the health and well-being of both workers and employers.
