Dr. Catherine A Chartier, MD

I have been going to Dr. Chartier for many years. She listens and answers your questions right to the point. She is a top professional doctor and I would recommend Dr. Chartier to family & friends. KIND, SINCERE & GENTLE

I love Dr. Chartier, but the wait time is out of hand...I have waited more than an 1 1 /2 hr., they need better scheduling.

Waited 30 minutes in the outer office before asking if the doctor was in. I was told indeed she was. (You need to be told if she's out or attending an emergency). Shortly after I was taken "to the back" where I was weighed, measured and had my BP taken. I was put in the "little room" and handed a gown. A full hour after my scheduled time, I was still waiting and told myself, no more than 15 more minutes. Well, after and hour and 15 minutes I got dressed and walked out. No excuses, no apologies, no .... nothing! I have waited before ... but no longer. Done!

Cannot believe her clients can wait this long for a annual visit! 1 hour 27 min! Ridiculous!!!

Catherine Chartier strongly pushed that I have a hysterectomy after she did testing and determined I had "atypical endometriosis hyperplasa" about the year 2010. Determined I was not giving up my parts as fast as she wanted, I took the time to get several opinions. With luck , I found the "HERS Foundation" they recommended a doctor who prescribed s 6 month Progesterone treatment. I had a follow up exam and I am completely healthy. I have and never will return to that office.

My appointment was scheduled at 9:30. I happened to go down the hall to use the restroom at 9:30 and Dr. Chartier was just getting off the elevator to go to her office. She said good morning in the hallway and did not seem to be in a hurry. I returned to the office and was called back at 9:45. A nurse took my blood pressure and then I waited for the doctor. I could here her laughing with the other workers that it was not a good way to start the day with 5 patients all waiting for her at the same time. At 10:15 she finally walked in the room with no apology for being 45 minutes late, but she did mention she recognized me from the hallway. She did not listen to any questions or concerns I had and just pushed her agenda. I ended up leaving the appointment 20 minutes later with nothing being done and no answers to my questions. I was very dissatisfied and I plan on letting everyone I know about the awful experience I had at her office, beginning and ending with her.

She is the best ....no words to describe !!! I love her !!!

I arrived for my appointment a good 5 minutes before hand. I have seen this doctor once before but the office staff gave me more papers to fill out. They then called my insurance company and gave all my insurance details in full hearing range of everyone in the waiting room. I got in to see the doctor about 20 minutes or so after my arrival time, so not a bad wait. The doctor came into the examination room pretty quickly, listend to what my problem was then totally disregarded it. She whipped out the speculum and proceeded the way she does with most of her patients. Problem was, I didn't need that type of exam. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I left feeling stupid about the reason I had gone to see her, and without an answer to my problem. I have scheduled an appointment with another office to get a second opinion and I'm hoping for a better experience. I think Dr. Chartier excells in some areas, but not in others. Also, be prepared for a nurse to be present in the room… while you're having your examination, I didn't like that.

If you're in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend this office. I've waited for up to 1 to 2 hours on several occasions. On my last (and I do mean last) visit, after sitting in a freezing cold examining room, and being repeatedly assured that I was next, it was almost 2 hours until I actually saw her!! When I expressed my frustration, she stormed out of the room. Very unprofessional! Also, I could hear the chart being pulled out and dropped back into the slot on my door. I guess because I was just a yearly checkup and not a preggo or emergency, I just wasn't important enough to be seen quickly. When I tried to follow up with her afterward to discuss her behavior, she wouldn't even talk to me. Complaints to the office manager also got me nowhere. Needless to say, I would not recommend this doctor.
