Most thorough eye exam I have ever had..

Excellent ophthalmologist..

I have been a patient of her's for over 20 years.

The office and staff were great. My only dissatisfaction was with the doctor. She was rude, refused to answer ANY questions. I can not judge her medical expertise but I am very unhappy about her lack of communication with the patient. She rattled off to the person at the computer what might as well have been a foreign language to me and then told ME, nothing. She "may" be a great eye doctor but I can only judge her by her lack of any bedside manner. I had several visits before I gave up trying to get any information about my eyes from her. I will NEVER return. I found a new doc.

My first visit to this office was great until Dr. Fitzmorris appeared on the scene. All the testing prior to seeing the physician was done by very caring staff members. I found Dr. Fitzmorris very curt, uninformative, abrupt, rude, etc. I was referred to her by my primary care physician. On the next visit with my PCP, I asked for a referral to another eye doctor. I was told that she was good and maybe just having a bad day. I went back for a second visit. She was even worse. I can not judge her ability but I sure can judge her bedside manner. I will not give her a third try. How many "bad" days should I excuse?

My wife first went to Dr. Fitzmorris and was so impressed she suggested I see her, also. Dr. Fitzmorris is very popular so it does take a couple of weeks to get an appointment. I went to see her for a routine exam. She is VERY thorough and spends time explaining. She caught a condition that could have led to detached retina if left untreated. It was in a spot very difficult to see. The retina specialist she referred me to was impressed by the fact she had detected it in a routine exam. I highly recommend Dr. Fitzmorris.

MY FIRST TIME VISITING THIS DR.KAY FITZMORRIS. IT TOOK 2 WEEKS TO GET A BASIC EYE EXAM. OFFICE ASST(RANDY)TOOK ME INTO 1ST ROOM. CHECKED MY VISON WITH AN EYECHART & ASK OTHER QUESTION.THEN, I WAS TAKEN IN ANOTHER ROOM WHERE DR.FITZMORRIS CAME IN STARTED GIVING ME EYE TEST -COULDN'T DECIDE ON MONOLENS OR MULTI LEN SO I WILL BE SAMPLING BOTH TO SEE WHICH ONE WORKS BEST FOR ME. THIS IS A VERY CLEAN & PROFESSIONAL OFFICE. MY FOLLOWUP IS IN 2WEEKS. I CONSIDERED IT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.
