An amazing diagnostician, kind, supportive and thorough

I was seen in the hospital by this doctor because my primary doctor was not available. They both work in the same office, at the Westside Medical, in Lombard, IL. This doctor has the patience of Jobe and well educated and takes time with you, as well as my Primary Doctor. If my primary doctor would ever leave, I would ask if I could be her patient. She has a lot of experience and patience.

Dr. Grotelueschen has a warm, experienced and collaborative approach that I find respectful and reliable. She is very thorough and gives expert opinions and advice, but in addition I find her willing to listen to my concerns and respect my wishes. I find her refreshing in contrast to some doctors who are impersonal and dictatorial.

2 weeks after blood work, I had to call and ask to speak to the doctor about my results. I had visibility to my results via mychart app, but had concerns about two results. I have left numerous messages and no response. Was told by a receptionist that if something serious is wrong someone will call you. This doctor also treated another family member who died of lung cancer. Despite being a smoker with a family history of lung cancer, this person was never sent for an MRI, and subsequently passed away. Thanks for nothing Dr. G. Retire - ASAP!

She is a kind and compassionate woman who is a good listener and an excellent diagnostician. She refers her patients to a well-qualified group of specialists.
