Dr. Catherine Hebert is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana where she received her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry from McNeese State University. Following this, Dr. Hebert graduated from Louisiana State Universityâ€™s School of Dentistry in 1981 and furthered her education with three residencies. To insure the highest quality treatment and best possible outcome, Dr. Hebert continues to enhance her knowledge and skills by traveling around the globe to train with leading endodontists and implant specialists. She maintains an Associate Professor position and teaches at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Based on her hospital training, Dr. Hebert maintains special certifications in the area of patient sedation. She actively pursues an average of 200-500 hours of continuing education annually to maintain her position as a leader in the field of endodontics. Dr. Hebert has been on the Northshore …since 1986. She and her husband, Steven Carpenter, have two children, Kevin and Katie. Dr. Hebert enjoys traveling and cooking. She developed an extensive recipe collection which she shares with her patients. I had an appointment with Dr. Catherine Hebert for a root canal. I had heard so many horror stories that I was very apprehensive about the procedure. When I first enter the office I was greeted by friendly staff members. The rooms are decorated to calm you down for a stressful procedure. Her technicians and assistants had treated me with kindness and respect. Dr. Hebert came in and right off made me feel at ease. She explained the procedure and made sure I didn't have pain or discomfort. Her husband was her assistant and they talked about friends and funny situations which made me feel more at ease. Even after my procedure that night after hours, Dr. Hebert contacted me to see how I was doing. They gave me a bowl of homemade soup to take home. It was delicious! I highly recommend Dr.Catherine Hebert and staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hebert for over 15 years. Dr. Hebert uses the most up to date techniques and procedures, is very thorough and has advanced office technology.. She is extremely professional while also being caring and concerned. I have total confidence in Dr. Hebert. Also her office is very nice and comfortable. All the staff are top notch professional and kind.

I had a root canal with Dr. Hebert, and the entire experience of getting a root canal couldn't have been more pleasant! She and her staff did an excellent job of making sure I was comfortable. I felt fine to go back to work after the appointment. My recovery has been so easy. I was really pleased with Dr. Hebert's service. People complain about root canals, but they did everything to make it calming and not painful.

Dr. Hebert and staff are truly amazing! My experience from beginning to end could not have been better. Everyone involved was kind, patient, and professional. Dr. Hebert is extremely warm and caring. I feel blessed to have found her and her wonderful staff!

Dr. Hebert has the equipment, experience and skills to provide the best endodontic care on the Northshore. She creates a relaxing atmosphere for what can be a painful and scary experience. She and her staff provide extra special care to put their patients at ease.
