I waited almost 2 hours to see her and then she spent maybe 5 minutes with me and said lets schedule a scope and see whats wrong. When she finally came in the room, she didn't have my chart or a computer to look up any info or to take notes. She just asked my symptoms without having anything to write them down with and order a test. I felt like the main goal is to just schedule tests. On a positive note, her nurse was very nice.

Waited an hour and a half to see her. Finally came in, spent 5 minutes and scheduled me for tests. Didn't get a chance to ask any questions, didn't explain anything about the tests, only told me how much money I would owe. Very dissappointed.

I have Crohn's disease and it is usually under control, but I had a flare up and I was in a SEVERE amount of pain. I went to see Dr. Murray (she was my regular doctor), and asked her to treat me. She said no! Can you believe that a doctor wouldn't treat a patient's symptoms? I was shocked. She said that she would schedule a colonoscopy to find out what is wrong and treat that, but she wouldn't treat my symptoms. I thought doctors were supposed to treat the problem and the symptoms. I have never had a doctor let me leave without some way of combatting my problem. I am in so much pain that I can't really go anywhere, and it would have been so easy for her to help me. Of course I will get the colonoscopy to find out what's wrong so that the problem can be treated, but you can bet that it won't be Dr. Murray giving it to me. I will never go see her again. If you want your problem AND your symptoms treated, don't go see her.

I was referred to Dr Murray through my supervisor (we are health-care professionals) who told me I was gonna love her...and I did! Dr. Murray was extremely thorough, gentle, listened to my concerns. I had an upper GI endoscopy w her yesterday- great staff, efficient, explained everything in advance. I had typed report of EGD results in hand as we left. Can't say enough positives!
