Dr. Catherine Susan Locke, MD

She diagnosed me as having pneumoniaâ??not bacterial or viral just â??right sided,â?? she said. She took xrays of both my daughter and I but did not read my daughterâ??s xray before prescribing us both an antibiotic that would have been completely contraindicated for a muscular condition that my daughter has. I also did not want to take a fluoroquinolone. When I realized the next day what we had been prescribed and asked for a different antibiotic, she refused to give us one, saying that they all have side effects. She treats people as if she is the god who makes all the rules, and if you donâ??t like it, too bad. Well too bad for St. Joseph Express Walk-in Care and the entire St. Joseph system which has lost my familyâ??s business forever.

I drove my son 30 miles over to the St. Joseph Express in College Station because our small town clinic could not get him in. My husband met us there because he wanted to hear what the doc had to say, so I just waited in the lobby. When they came out I knew he was upset. Apparently she dismissed what they had to say about his systems and jump to conclusions. I took the papers, went back in there to talk to her. She rolled her eyes, shook her head, said derogatory remarks about the school trainer (which is a doctor for St. Jo's) and spoke to us like we were idiots. I told her she was behaving very unprofessional; she said no she was being honest. Terrible beside mannor, worst experiance with a doctor I've ever had. We will never go back there.

Long wait to see her then I was misdiagnosed, precribed overly expensive medicines, and terrible bedside manner. This doctor got more flustered as I asked more questions. One of the worst physicians I have ever encountered.

1.5 hr wait prior to being placed in exam room. did not listen to what I was saying regarding medical complaint, offered rx which had been previously used with no positive effects. very negative experience, will not return

Dr. Locke needs to work on getting a bedside manner. She was curt and rude and in a hurry to get me out of her space. She did not go over my medical report adequately and did not explain anything or answer my questions...instead she worked to avoid answering the questions. I would not recommend her.

Great doctor. Working at a walk in clinic. I will go back to her again. :)

Very caring individual. Currently works for a walk-in express clinic so I understood the wait. Dr. Locke was very knowledgeable about the issues I was experiencing. I can only say good things.
