Dr. Catherine Anne Mazei, DO

I saw Dr. Mazei at Intercare in Bangor, Mi. I am very disappointed and unhappy with her "service ". I have OCD and have been on Luvox for 2 years. I came to an emergency appointment with, what I thought was an earache, but she told me it was TMJ. With my family history of TMJ, I wasn't too surprised. She prescribed me Amitriptyline and Diclofenac. Because I have never had any issues with the other doctors, nurses, or PA's, I didn't second guess her diagnosis or the meds she prescribed me, especially after she reassured me that they would be fine with my regular meds. Two weeks into taking the meds Mazei prescribed me, I started feeling weird. I won't go on with the LIST of symptoms or the 6 days I have missed of work in the past month, HOWEVER, I will tell you that it states online, that Amitriptyline should not be taken with in 6 weeks of taking Luvox. I wish I would have done my homework.

Dr. Mazei is the most caring and thoughful provider I ever met. She has always been available for her patients even when not on duty. My kids just love her.
