After having a significant weight loss on purpose (portion- control), she stated that there was a new NYS regulation that I should be tested for HIV. No such regulation exists. Then she wanted me to be tested for Hep C. Final straw was stating that I needed to go on a statin to lower my cholesterol. My total cholesterol is already 140 and she wanted me to lower it??? I have never had an appointment with her on time. Maybe there's a reason why her office staff totally changes every 6 months.

It's your job as a Doctor to listen to our complaints. If you had truly been listening instead of prescribing another pill (I hope) my family member would not now be in the condition she is in. Shame on you. As a professional, you should not be rolling your eyes and laughing at a patients expense.
