I went to McLeod Hospital because I injured my right hand. Dr. Rubington was on call at the ER and long story short, no broken bones, but wanted me to see an Orthopedic doctor WITHIN SIX DAYS.... just moving to SC 2 months prior and then burying my husband of 28 years, I found myself having to unpack boxes and move furniture by myself......our family were back North and I couldn't afford to move back North. In the process of trying to place an area rug under a piece of furniture, I injured my hand as stated above. Before leaving the ER, I asked the hospital for a family doctor they could refer me to in Little River, and I was given McLeod Seacoast Medical - Dr. Catherine Rosario. I call and got an appointment two days later which meant that I had FOUR DAYS left to see an Orthopedic doctor while the injury was still "fresh". Upon seeing her, I gave her the paperwork from Dr. Rubington at the ER next door in McLeod Hospital. She decided she wanted to WAIT before sending me to an… Orthopedic doctor as her McLeod Hospital colleague wanted - instead she sent me home to do a particular hand exercise and come back for a FOLLOW-UP in a week. Well, these follow-up lasted for SEVEN MONTHS AND NOT SIX DAYS AND FINALLY SHE SENT ME TO SEE DR. DAVID LUKOWSKI, JR. on the 2nd floor of McLeod Seacoast Medical. I met Dr. Lukowski, Jr...... by the way, a good Orthopedic doctor for the hand, arm, shoulder....... and after he greeted me, he said "Mrs------- WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO SEE ME AFTER YOUR INJURY"..... I told him to go downstairs and talk to Dr. Rosario. The injury set in place and without going into a longer story, test were done and basically if Dr. Lukowski would operate on my hand, there was over a 90+% chance all my fingers on my right hand would turn inward into my palm. Needless to say, I didn't have the surgery, but in case Dr. Catherine Rosario reads this, this is to let you know that my 2 fingers on my right hand STILL pain me 24/7........ not that you cared about your patient who just buried her husband, alone, no family or friends with 2 dogs as her pets who one is on insulin twice a day and the other is on prescription meds because she is allergic to SC grass. She is no longer at McLeod Hospital ....... by the way this woman had no empathy when she saw that after 7 months, I was still grieving the loss of my husband of 28 years and couldn't understand WHY! ! ! !

Doctor Rosario is excellent Doctor Who tries to help people and work that with them with their existing insurance or lack of

I was on a medication for 12 years. Dr. Rosario suggested I stop taking the medication for 6 weeks and return to her office for blood work at the end of the 6 weeks. I no longer have to take the medication as my blood work proved I didn't require the medication. THANK YOU DR. ROSARIO

Terrible doctor. Provides wrong diagnosis and meds for condition, forcing me to endure a trip to the ER.
