Dr. Catherine Marie Sargent, DO

Love the doctor hate the staff. Full of miss information and confusion with no follow through. Medical assistants need more training

I have gone to Dr. Catherine Sargent for several years. I have always found her to be caring, listens to what you have to say & willing to work with you for healthy healing alternatives. My experience is she is a very good doctor.

In 2007, I was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome. I spent six months in a nursing home. Dr. Sargent had me going to every specialist other than the one I should’ve gone to, a neurologist. I actually blame her for me being in a wheelchair 10 years later. One of the specialist even had me go back to her office to let her see that I couldn’t hardly walk, and the office staff said she did not want to come out. My friend actually was adamant about it. She finally came out shaking her head like oh poor me and then sent me to a neurologist where they immediately put me in the hospital. Her bedside manner is very poor. She doesn’t hardly listen. She says she’ll be back in a minuteo and never returns. Then the nurse comes back in. Her one employee, Christy was very rude to me. I am so glad that I finally changed doctors. I should have done it way before I did. I finally have a doctor with good bedside manner and actually listens to me. She doesn’t go out of the room and says she’ll be… back in a minute. I would never recommend that practice!

Dr. Catherine Sargent is attentive & listens to what you have to say. She works with you combining the best treatment approach medically & holistically as she can. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Doctor has been pretty good with information and answering questions, staff is does seem nonchalant at times,,,,

My family has been patients of Dr. Sargent (and her partner Dr. Sawvell) since early 2007, over 6 years as of this review. When we first became patients I was thrilled to have found the perfect medical care providers for everyone in my family (boys saw Dr. Sawvell, girls saw Dr. Sargent). Dr. Sargent was so calm & patient that she put my ultra-shy youngest daughter at ease. She spent time listening to us & discussing treatment options, so we felt genuinely cared for and respected. Unfortunately, over the last few years, her manner of care has changed dramatically. She's gradually reduced the time she spends with patients, doesn't listen to patient concerns, leaves it to her staff to reveal her treatment decisions, doesn't attempt to answer any questions about her treatment plan, and responds to repeated questions by refusing to treat you anymore.

Qurky and distracted, not a good listener, poor diagnostician, relys on costly tests ( often from "associates") instead of skill, in and out in a flash, staff ranges from distant to outright rude. Still paying on tests 2 yrs later...no positive outcomes I coulden't have produced mysel- without supporting this Health Care Buisness.

I've been seeing Dr. Sargent for a few tears now & must say that her behavior in the last year has been shocking. I can most definitely say that my most recent visit to her will definitely be my last. She comes in to the room, doesn't even talk to you long enough to get the full grasp of your issues and out the door she goes. Next thing you know her nurse comes in & your done. I spent more time in the waiting room than in the exam room. Horrible doctor. My veterinarian spends more time with my dogs than she does her patients. Very sad!
