Dr. Catherine Michael Tisdall, MD

Dr. Tisdall is an amazing doctor. She spent a ton of time answering all my questions. She took note of my need to keep things natural, so she would give me the medicine option and a natural option. I'm mercury toxic, so she took the time to make sure that the injections were safe. She is really smart and I appreciate that even tho I don't know all the scientific words she uses she still uses them and doesn't talk to me like I'm dumb. I also love that I can get facials and other fun treatments here as well. The office is clean and always smells so good. Really excited to find such a good dermatologist in Texas.

Dr. Tisdall is a wealth of knowledge and compassion. I never feel rushed during my appointments and she answers my questions and concerns thoroughly and thoughtfully. I have recommended her to all of my friends and colleagues and will continue to do so.

I had to switch dermatologists because of my insurance and just visited Dr. Tisdall. She gave me some advice about my Rosacea and recommended some prescriptions that weren't covered by my carrier. The prescriptions were never called in to the pharmacy and I had to call back the staff. Then, they still weren't covered and I asked them to make a claim with my carrier for one face wash because I needed it and was out (which I mentioned to the assistants). They finally called me back and said they would go ahead and call that day and NEVER DID. Not only that, because of my dissatisfaction, I called and left a voicemail for the doctor to call me back and she never even bothered to return my call. This is definitely not an office you can rely on. It was as if they just saw me quickly and got paid by the insurer, then abandoned me. Good luck with any follow up care. I even had my mom go see this facility but she will now stop going, too, as this is a horrible way to handle a business.

I'm not going back!

Her bedside manner is very abrupt and obnoxious. She acts like she doesn't have time for your questions and then answers the questions you do ask in a very disrespectful way. She is narcissistic and acts like she knows everything. Can be a bit of a snob.

For of all it hard to get an appointment with her because she is always on vacation. Once I got an appointment, it was rescheduled 3 times for the same reason. Finally on the day of my appointment when I went to see her, I was ill treated by the receptionist. She was very rude. I greeted her by saying good morning and in return she asked me rudely "why you are here?". I told her politely that I am here to see Dr. Tisdall and she asked me to wait. I waited for 45 mins in the waiting area before I was called to an exam room. After around 15-20 min the doc came in and the first thing she said to me was "your insurance doesn't pay us for multiple problems so we can only discuss/treat one thing today". Seriously! that how you treat your new patients?

She needs to attend some basic customer service classes so that she can learn how to talk to a patient. You can treat your MAs like a piece of trash but I am your patient. Don't treat me like trash!

Horrible doctor! Stay away from her

Fabulous Dermatologist. Cares about her patients. Very detailed and always take time to answer all questions.

Dr. Tisdall has a vast knowledge of all skin types and solutions to things that ail you. She's amazing! I've seen a few derms, she's by far the best there is.
