Dr. Cathrine Constantacos, MD

This woman does not give a straight answer to any question, and even mocks us for asking what seem to be basic questions. She has no compassion for the struggles and concerns of a family with a new diagnosis. She cannot even offer simple suggestions for quality reference materials, which should be part of the process for a new diagnosis. She is condescending and combative. One minor point that she argued with us seems downright dangerous to our child, and our take on it was confirmed when we spoke to others at two big-name national diabetes organizations. We are seeking someone else because of the confusion, fear, shame, and angst she has piled on our family.

She denied that my daughter had any symptoms of low thyroid even though she has all the symptoms... hair falling out, severe constipation, headache, fatigue to the point she is home bound from school, sweating profusely, slight weight gain, etc...dr said it was coming from something else ?? Even though she has elevated antibodies in thyroid

Dr. Constantacos is an amazing, highly intelligent doctor. We saw her in the hospital and endocrine clinic. Her bedside manner is one of the best I have ever seen. She makes sure her patients know that she cares for them, not only as patients, but as important people. She will do whatever it takes to help a patient recover. She is awesome with teenagers!!! We love Dr. Constantacos!!! :)
