Dr. Cathryn Anne Doughtie, MD

I’ll say this- my mom was very resistant to any treatment, not just surgery. Dr. Doughtie spent nothing short of HOURS working with her and us (daughters) to explain, give us the options, explain things the other doctors didn’t, and still gave her choices. She also gave her tough love, which mom absolutely needed to make the right choice. Needless to say, mom is recovering from surgery, and all is well so far. Dr. Doughtie is a life changer.

She saved my mother's life, no doubt. And she did it with grace, expertise, and a caring touch every step along the way. We prayed to God for help wiht my mom and he answered with Dr. Doughtie. She is everything we every could ask for.

I was understandably a little scared about the whole thing- cancer, surgery, etc. She definitely did a great job and was with me all along the way. Everything I’d want in a doctor.

She took care of my dad. His surgery went well, and she was great at explaining everything beforehand. She really put the whole family at ease. I don't know how to rate her surgery, but he's cancer free and doing well, and that's all we need to know. She did a great job!

Caring, took her time with me. She realizes what her patients are up against, and is very honest about surgery, but it is clear that she loves her patients! She may be young, but don't be fooled, she's very intelligent, She did an amazing job- both my husband and I are so grateful for all she has done. She is truly a diamond in the rough here in Amarillo!
