Dr. Cathryn Kaylor Harbor, MD

Dr. Harbor's website is full of patently false claims about disease causation (no, mold does not cause cancer; no, Lyme does not cause Alzheimers). She offers zero substantiation (no citations, no links to research) for any of her claims or treatment protocols. False hope is not a legitimate treatment. She over-prescribes antibiotics and pushes supplements and other drugs unproven as legitimate treatments and ascribes every symptom under the sun to post-Lyme.

Highly intelligent, research oriented care. Dr Harbor shows true concern and dedication to her patients. My family has been treated thoroughly and thoughtfully at Rockbridge Traditional Health. Dr Harbor is a wealth of knowledge and not afraid to consider well researched alternate treatment methods.

I entered the office and was greeted by a smiling receptionist who was very nice and had the necessary paperwork prepared and ready to be filled out. After only a 5 minute wait I was greeted by Dr.Harbor. She was smiling and immediately listened to my symptoms. She never acted rushed. She educated me as she completed her assessment. I left the office very confident I was in competent hands. I've never met a more dedicated doctor.

Dr. Harbor represents what should be he the ideal of the medical profession. She approaches each item as researcher but in a fashion where the patient well being is the most critical element. The body is an interrelated system and often times diagnosis requires more than 10 minutes and some labs and Dr. Harbor practices medicine with this viewpoint.

I traveled over 3 hours for a visit and was very pleased. Be warned this is not your typical busy drs. office setting and that is a good thing. Her office is in a cute house where the living area is the reception area. She made me feel comfortable the moment she introduced herself and called me back. She listened to everything I had to say and asked questions as well during the visit. She seemed to truly care. I will continue to see her and I highly recommend her.

She is by far the best doctor that I have ever been to. I live about an hour from her office. I will drive it any day to get her opinion. She is caring and will go the extra mile to help you. She will help you to deal with your illness in many ways, instead of handing you a bottle of pills. I wish all doctors would think like her.

After years of getting the "run-around" from doctors who can only treat a problem with a prescription, I have finally found Dr. Harbor. My first appointment was a full hour - totally unheard of these days - and I know that she was focused only on me and my issues. I can tell that Dr. Harbor REALLY CARES about me and will work with me for the best quality of life without unnecessary drugs and or tests. I finally have hope again.
