Dr. Cathy Jean Berry, MD

I was diagnosed in early June with a large cyst on my left ovary. I thought that would require urgent attention. Boy, was I wrong! I went for about 2 and1/2 weeks not knowing what was happening or what type of treatment I'd need. The lack of communication was so unprofessional. I had a surgery 2 weeks ago. Thankfully, that went well. Somehow over the course of 2 months, the cyst went from 10 centimeters to 12 centimeters. I'm seeing someone else for my preventative GYN care from now on. Not only was I really ticked off with how my case was handled (or not), but I had frustrating experiences trying to make appointments at this office.

From the front desk staff all the way through seeing a provider, everyone in this office is rude and treats you like you’re an inconvenience. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

I have been a patient here for years and had been diagnosed with a rather large cyst on my right ovary. This was monitored by two sonograms and the doctors opted to leave it. Fast forward two years later and no further scans or mention of any and I end up in the emergency room with ovarian torsion which resulted in the complete loss of my right ovary and Fallopian tube. The doctors at upstate said this was negligence on the part of my OBGYN. Apparently it should’ve never been left and unmonitored once it was over 5cm. When it was all removed, the cyst had grown to nearly 9 cm. I will never be going back.

Seems funny that a patient would write a review in 2019 about a practice manager named Debbie that hasn't worked there since 2015. Seems more like it came from a nasty employee with a grudge.

OMA THE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TONE IN HER WAS VERY RUDE AND LOUD. I CALLED WITH A PROBLEM AND THE TRIAGE STAFF SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO RUN THIS BY THE NURSE BECASUE SHE IS BOOKED UP WITH PATIENTS. SO UNPROFESSIONAL TO BE A DOCTORS OFFICE!!

Dr. Berry delivered my baby and was very knowledgeable. She was very nice and helped coach me through giving birth for my first time. Her staff are all friendly, and actually remembered me throughout my whole pregnancy. Dr. Lopes also was very nice and took my call at 4 am when I thought my water broke. The worker who takes the blood in-house was also very sweet she let me take my time after I was going to faint from giving the blood for tests. I would recommend the Pine street office to anyone that wants a smooth process for having a healthy baby born they do all the proper tests at the right time to screen stuff for the baby and mother's health. Also another one of my favorite things about the Pine street location was the birthing coach she was very sweet and mindful so thank you to all the Staff at Cathy Berry and Associates!

Finding Dr. Berry's office was a huge relief. I had been at CNY Women's Health, where I felt like one of a million, never saw the same doctor twice, interactions with doctors were rushed and brusque, and felt most of my care was in the hands of very young, bored staff. Dr Cathy Berry is the opposite! The team of nurses and practitioners at Dr. Berry's are calm, confident, and deeply competent. I feel always that I am not only in wise and practiced hands, but that Im being cared for by people who truly believe in a philosophy of holistic health for the mother and baby. I feel my emotional well-being is as important, in Dr. Berry's practice as my physical health, and this does so much for my own peace of mind.

They will overbook and cancel your appointment without informing you. When you show up for your scheduled appointment, they will act as though it is your fault!!!! Horrible office staff!

im going to make this short . I recently went back to dr berry as I moved back to the area after being away for a few years . She treated me 10 years ago for 5 years .. Then I moved away until recently and I just went to her yesterday...all I can say is the staff were excellent ,her nurse was so wonderful, and dr berry was as always as I remember her wonderful self and answered all my questions. The staff in the front office were great and took all my ins forms . I have gone to both offices and I have always had the best experience with all the. Staff..

I have been a patient of Dr. Berry's for over 6 years. Everyone I have encountered there, except one, their Practice Manager, Debbie, is amazing. Their nurse manager Beth Spier has been invaluable to me and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Thank you all for the wonderful care and personal attention.
