I’m sorry zero stars isn’t an option Nothing she says can’t be read online Nothing practicable. Doesn’t understand OCD AT ALL. obnoxious. Arrogant without skill. Hard pass.

She is mean and charges roo Much.

My daughter is now 23 and we got in with Dr. Budman since she’s been about 10. Dr. Budman has always been helpful, accommodating, and willing to try new things to help my daughter be successful at school. She’s very encouraging and we are lucky to have such an internationally known specialist in the area of Tourette’s syndrome on Long Island. I know people who come from down south to come see her. Although she doesn’t take insurance, she certainly is worth the money since she is up on all the latest and innovative research in the TS arena.

My son has a tic disorder and ADHD. Dr. Budman spends a lot of time with us during our visits. She monitors my son's progress and adjusts his medications when needed. She never pushes us to take a specific medication or stick with one if it isn't effective. She comes highly recommended among other doctors in the field as well.

I get skeptical of positive reviews that sound more like an ad than personal. I can confirm this doctor has no bedside manner, berates parents, and does not do CBT. I also didn’t get any information from her I couldn’t look up. Read about Tourette. Read about OCD. Read about ADHD. You’ll save yourself a lot of money and frustration. NYC is full of ocd clinics and adhd clinics. If you need medication there are plenty of neurologists and psychiatrists who can do that. Many general doctors will help if you open up. Dr Budman gets zero stars in my book.

I tried. She spews talking points on Tourette anyone can look up. Seems to know nothing about anything except tics. Does NOT KNOW CBT. Who would want to do CBT With such a cold person? Try Northwell Heath. Budman authors papers. Her expertise is Not in treating human beings. The only positive is she runs close to on time. If you’re looking for a kind and effective ocd Doctor, look elsewhere.

Great doctor who puts her patients first. My daughter has been with her for over 10 years.

I am blessed to have found Dr. Budman after doing some serious research on my Tourette's syndrome malady that have had since childhood. Dr. Budman is amazing and finally at the age of 67 I have gotten a great deal of relief from this debilitating disease.

She is worth it!!! She is the best for TS and the only psychiatrist that will thoroughly evaluate your child, she is not a pill pusher and also provides CBT services. I am so happy I found her. In my opinion this woman is a miracle worker!
