Dr. Cathy Nan Cooper, MD

Dr. Cooper is inattentive and does not listen to her patients. After I gave birth my blood pressure was extremely low. My brother-in-law is a centenarian and had to tell her I needed a blood transfusion due to a massive blood loss. After going home I kept telling her something was wrong. She only agreed to run tests after my sister took me in and insisted she figure out what was wrong with me. I was within hours of dying. Ended up having emergency surgery at another hospital by a much more competent doctor. I tell people all the time to NOT see Dr Cooper!

She gives you the false perception that she cares. She wizzes through the appointment, walks out the door like she will be back in and never shows back up. I had a bill that was from the 90's and apparantly missed a 10 dollar payment that I didn't kow about. I have had 3 recent deaths in my family besides having complex ptsd, anxiety, depressions, and several health problems. She has been my Dr her whole time in practice and I was dismissed by her nurse over the phone. My current bill is 6 dollars. Due to my diagnosis, you would think that she would have known what this would do to my mental state. I have been hospitalized twice because of it. She is too busy and she doesn't care about anything but making a buck. I already have extreme change and trust issues and my own Dr. just pushed me in to a down ward spiral and a ton of triggers. I recommend finding someone who actually cares about you.

Wait times are excessive because she never rushes through an exam. VERY personable. The check in staff is rude but once you get in to see her nurses and staff they are the best. I think the only negative is that she just has too many patients and she tries to see and care for them all.

Totally uncaring about her patients. Very self absorbed. Would never go back, nor recommend her to anyone. She drags this practice down!

OMG!! She forgot about me in the middle of my appointment!! She left the building while I was waiting on her to come back and give me some news about my test. They had to call her to come back!!
