CATINA GRANT, LPC-A is a LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR ASSOCIATEAttending college as a non-traditional student, I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Augusta State University in 2009. During this time, I also worked full time as a Family Services Worker with children and their parents to assist in helping them to become self-sufficient in meeting the needs of their families. In 2011, I obtained a Master of Education and became a certified Professional School Counselor. I served in this capacity for ten years. It is here that I worked with countless students each year preparing students for academic, career, and personal and social success.As a therapist I have worked with a number of clients assessing their needs and providing the support necessary to deal with life obstacles. I use a caring, and direct, solution-focused approach to help individuals to better understand themselves and help find solutions to the issues they are dealing with.
