Dr. Cayla Claire Masarik

Dr. Masarik was thorough and explained everything. This was my initial appointment and I asked her about a lingering issue from a recent fall. She referred me to a specialist to be evaluated as a precaution. Top notch

This “doctor” caused me to be admitted inpatient. She diagnosed me with a UTI on Feb. 21. She prescribed me a particular antibiotic. She never sent my urine out for a culture. I’m a nurse and know you always send urine out for a culture and to verify the correct antibiotic was prescribed. Doing this would have shown that it was resistant to this medication (and this medication only) and therefore needed a different antibiotic. She then documented in my chart that the urine was most likely contaminated, which she had no way of knowing since the culture wasn’t sent to the lab. I ended up being admitted for 3 days causing me to have to pay an out of pocket maximum of $5000. Before being admitted, I had a fever of 104.9 and passed out in my kitchen TWICE and waking up on my floor after hitting my head. BEWARE of this doctor!
