Someone is deleting my review. I wonder why????? You decide after reading!!! Dr. Parker is a fairly good doctor but you must wait anywhere from f 2 to 8 hours to see him. And I am not exaggerating. Just ask an existing or former patient who is truthful. The reason for the excessive wait time is because he is greedy and has entirely TOO many patients. And when I checked one of his websites, he is accepting new patients. Also because of the MANY patients he has, he routinely misses a diagnosis and the patient has to request referral appointments to see specialists that he should have recommended. And when he does refer you to a specialist, it is one of his cronies regardless as to their level of competency. He touts how many years he has worked with the doctor rather than touting their competency. He also almost never requests any lab work for patients. My wife's illness was not diagnosed which developed into cancer because he failed to request something as simple as lab work.… His office staff/nurses rarely return patients' call. His loyalty is to doctors within his group and Mobile Infirmary Hospital rather than to his patients. He is nearing "70". Time for him to retire!!!

This doctor prescribed me outrageous amounts of Vicodin and Xanax and then dumped me with a certified letter when I reached out for help. This was in the early 2000s. and the addiction and subsequent treatment 2xs cost me a ton of money. Partial responsibility lies with the prescriber and if he would have just helped me I'd have respected that, but he left me hooked and scared.
