Dr. Cecile Pace Windels, MD

Dr. Windels has taken care of my children for many years. She has excellent clinical judgement and a caring manner

My two children are under Dr. Windels' care and she has been nothing short of incredible in how she's diagnosed specific issues very early on (top specialists in NYC were very impressed she caught the issues so early and as a result I was able to fully treat each issue). She's smart, dedicated (has met us on Sundays when the children have been really sick and I've been worried). She tells it to you straight which I so appreciate so I don't have to worry about other issues in my head - instead I know the facts and then, as a result, know how to handle each one. She's a great support to the parents and so caring and on top of it. Can't recommend her highly enough.

I have seen Dr. Windels for many years and I have always been 100% satisfied with her level of care. She is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience to draw on. Most importantly, she is very compassionate and easy to talk to. Especially during my teenage years there are lots of questions that I had that were a bit embarrassing, but Dr. Windels was always extremely approachable and easy to talk to - she made me feel very comfortable discussing uncomfortable topics. What makes this all better is the wonderful support and medical staff at the Healthy Child. The nurses are all very professional, warm, and efficient, and the front desk is great as well. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Dr. Windels has taken care of my children for 24 years. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. My children have had some complicated medical issues and she was able to make accurate and timely diagnoses and get us to excellent specialists. We feel very lucky that she has been our pediatrician.

Dr. Windells is average as a doctor at best. Mistreated my son. She has a chip on her shoulder and no bedside manners. I would never recommend her. In fact, I would take my child to a clinic before seeing her

Dr. Windels was curt and condescending after we asked what we thought were good questions about our son's medical problems.

Dr Windels has been my children's Dr for over 7 yrs. Over the past year I have noticed a change with her attitude I'm not sure what is going on but she doesn't seem to take care of us like she use too. The front office staff has changed also they aren't as out going as before. My children use to enjoy going to see the Dr, now they beg me to find a new office. The overall atmosphere is different. The wait is longer, the attitude is terrible across the board. While we wait I can over hear conversations from the staff that I don't feel are appropriate. Unfortunately I haven't recommended any of my friends to join the practice in a long time. I'm not sure how much longer I will be staying with this practice to be honest. Maybe the growth of the practice is creating this issue but I came to Dr Windel's because she use too care now I don't feel that's the case anymore.

She is an incredible doctor. Thorough, responsible, caring. A rarefind. Kids all relate to her, too.

Refers you to terrific specialists when needed. Take her advice-best dr. my famnily sees!

Cecile Windels is an extremely bright and capable pediatrician who cares deeply about her patients and their well-being. Her practice is full of great nurses and office staff, and it offers patients' support groups (i.e., for new mothers)and assistance in all areas affecting your child's health. She is a committed, deeply caring physician, albeit one with a quirky personality. My family has been with her for almost 20 years, and my kids adore her.
