Doctor closed office and completely dissapeared. Sent bunch of fraud letters they paitents owe money!! This is insane. SHAME ON HER!

I really like Dr. McKay's bedside manner. However, both times I've come in for an appointment and been prescribed something, she doesn't call in the prescription. I've driven to the pharmacy only to find out that the prescription hasn't been called in. The first time this happened, I called her on the number provided on the practice's answering machine and she picked up immediately and called in the prescription within 15 minutes. However, the second time, I was unable to reach her. The Avalon Medical Group answering machine message says that you can leave a message, but you cannot. I have tried on several occasions (the two times that she did not call in the prescriptions and twice when I was calling during business hours to make my first appointment). I am incredibly frustrated and have to wait another day to be treated for the illness that I have because she can't get it together to call in prescriptions. If this happened once, I wouldn't write a negative review, but she's 0/2 now.

Dr McKay is a very caring physician who spends the time with you. The office staff is less helpful. The call back times are long. Otherwise, i am very pleased with Dr McKay and with her professional care esp. Have referred many friends to her who are also pleased.

I have been a patient of Dr. McKay's for years now and must say it's a pleasant office. Bedside manner a dr. that listens and spends lots of time with you. Staff and management is great they all work as a team and go the extra mile. Sorry the last patient feels so harsh but my family and I love Liz she is very professional and polite to all patients and staff. I would reccommend this office to any and I do to everyone who wants great treatment and care.

Dr may be OK, but the office manager, Liz Andrews is horrible: rude, talks down to patients,hateful, acts like she is the physician and owns the business. Office is very difficult to make an appointment, they charge $40 if you are 5 mins late, will try to charge money if you need a copy of your health records, there is only one physician, so you will not be seen if you need to be seen immediately, simply you are in bad luck if you have a serious medical condition, the feeling is that the office is there for the money and they do not care about the patient. Go to another physician seriosly.

Dr. McKay has a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. McKay is an absolutely amazing physician. She is the Gold Standard in the field of Primary Care. The time that she spends with her patients is valuable, thorough, and like no other physician/patient dyad. I have referred family and friends to her, as well.

Dr. McKay may very well be the most caring doctor I've had. Her exams are thorough and complete. If she thinks a problem is beyond her capacity to solve, she will refer me to a competent specialist. I've referred my wife, my sister, and my son to her.
