Dr. Cecille Santiago Guarnes, MD

Dr Guarnez is kind, compassionate and caring about her patients. She always takes time to sit down and listen to what I have to tell her about my health status. I think she's an asset to the health profession.

I don't know why I am still going to this doctor. My current insurance requires a referral to a specialist. I have an issue I need to see a specialist for and requested a referral, but they insist I see the doctor. When I get there she was rude and asked me what I was doing there. She actually made me cry the last time I visited because I couldn't remember the date of my last PAP test. I will be finding another doctor.

I have been a patient for about 10 years. I feel she is very thorough and caring with me. However,as her practice has grown,the office wait time has grown also. She is so overbooked that it is ridiculous! Last time was 2.5 hours. I won't do this more than one more time and I will be forced to leave and it will be a shame.

I wouldn't recommend this Dr. She doesn't have time for her patients. I have been in the office for 41/2 hours on 2 occasions, mostly waiting for her, then she can't take time because she's running late. She doesn't information from specialist. She doesn't follow through. She told me my cholesterol was high, didn't say how high, and said I'd have to make other app't so she could go over this. In the mean time I'm left wondering.
