Dr. Cecylia Nowakowska, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Nowakowska for over eight years. She is very principled and ethical, but yet has warmth and empathy. She has diagnosed me properly and prescribed the correct medications. Through my therapy, i've learned coping skills and we've been able to eliminate some medications and drop to a maintenance level on others. I highly recommend her.

Don't feel alright with her advice.

Never going back to her again.

Will never consider her again.

She will try to give you medications that will keep you in her care for long term. I was prescribed medication by her that would have kept me on these drugs for years, probably forever. I was lucky that I have a relative who is a psychiatrist and he advised me not to take the drugs Dr Nowakowska had prescribed as those drugs would have meant a life time of treatment. I got better on an antidepressant after just 6 months of treatment. Today, I am fully recovered and am not on any drugs. Thankfully, I did lose some money by going to her, but I am glad that I didn't continue her treatment.
