Dr. Cedric Lewis Coleman, MD

went to his office and every room is paper thin. he will discuss every patient with his students. overheard him discussing irrelevant sexual history and laughing hysterically about a lady diagnosed with syphilis. will never be back!

WE CONTACT THE OFFICE AND SPOKE WITH STAFF (TANDALA) WHO STATED THAT THE DOCTOR WOULD RETURN OUR CALL. MY HUSBAND INFORMED HER THAT IT WAS PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL AND HE NEED TO TALK WITH HIM. SHE DID NOT CALL BACK TO SAY HE WAS TOO BUSY AND GUET WHAT THE DOCTOR DID NOT RETURN THE CALL EITHER. WE SHOULD RECEIVE A DISCOUNT EVERY TIME WE ARE HAVE TO BE PUT ON HOLD,OR NO RETURN CALL AND HAVE TO GO INTO EMERGENCY ROOM. EVERYTIME YOU GO INTO THE OFFICE YOU HAVE TO PAY 30.00 CO-PAY FOR WAITING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR 3-4 HOURS BEFORE YOU SEE THE DOCTOR. WE HAVE BEEN WITH THIS DOCTOR OVER 15 YEARS. WE DESERVE BETTER.

Has been my personal; Physician for 30 years. Diagnosed a heart valve problem in 2002 which lead to valve surgery. VIsited me in the hospital and continues to provide me with excellent care. His office staff was great holding my insurance carriers feet to the fire.

Dr m. Coleman is one of the best doctors I've encountered in Chicago, his bedside manner is excellent

Dr. Coleman is a good Dr. He has a pleasant and cares about his patients. His office management is the exact opposite.

The wait time is totally ridiculous! When I finally got to the examining room, I took a nap for the next 35 minutes. He doesn't apologize for the 2 hour + wait and the staff is unorganized. Granted, they are friendly but I can't spend the whole day waiting to see the doctor for 8 minutes. I thought it was a fluke the first time but this has happened to me on several occasions. I cannot recommend this doctor if time is not on your side.

I have been with Dr. Coleman for over 15 years. He has performed great work with any and all ailments that have aroused in my life. I will continue to be his patient, and highly recommend him for anyone looking for a great physician.

Great doctor but the waiting time is ridiculous!

Dr. Coleman is a great doctor. He has accurately diagnosed and helped me to manage my health needs/concerns. Moreover, he is fun, and engaging; although sometimes, sometimes a bit overboard. He knows what he's doing, and is good at explaining everything. I never feel like he's rushing through my visit. I do get annoyed by the wait time, which is consistenly around an hour, and because he works with Med School Students who frequently rotate through his office, you will more than likely have to explain everything - all over again - at each visit. Also, he doesn't work on the weekends and his latest appointments are at 4:00 pm. Dr. Coleman's great; just be prepared to sit for a while...
