Dr. Cedric Wojciech Spak, MD

I cannot imagine that patients have a good experience with this doctor after mine. He’s condescending and rude. You can’t ever reach anyone at the office. I hope patients don’t have the same experience that I did.

I arrived at Baylor a week ago dehydrated with what I know now a severe intestinal infection. After 2 days with out conventional meds helping. He came and prescribed the right combo an I am hoping to be discharge soon!

Met Dr. Spak after my husband had a liver transplant then came down with 2 highly contagious infections. He knew right away what was wrong. His treatment plan was/is aggressive, but I truly feel he saved my husband's life. For those that say he comes off as "superior" I beg to differ. He is very knowledgeable, yet very straightforward. He does not pull punches or try to sugarcoat....he gets straight to the point. That being said, he is also very friendly and compassionate. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!

This doctor has a major superiority complex. He talks down to you if he doesn’t think you’re on his level. Well, we’re all human. Physicians should serve the community and treat people with compassion.

Dr Spak has saved my life more than once. He never gives up!

Dr. Spak was lead physician when I was severely ill last year, and he provided me with exceptional care. He is a deeply learned doctor who puts the patient's welfare above all other considerations. I credit him with leading a team of physicians that saved my life. He found my medical issue, treated me with compassion, and has maintained a personal interest in my continued good health. I recommend him highly without reservation.

After being a patient of Dr Spak for several years, overall this guy is on the ball. His recommendations and referrals have been spot on imo. I would recommend this specialist to newly diagnosed or the experienced patient.

When all my other doctors were ready to send me to hospice, Dr. Spak insisted on giving me a chance and started treating my disease. I was blessed by God to put Dr. Spak on my case. I would recommend Dr. Spak to anyone of my family and friends. He is one of the best infectious disease doctors anywhere.

Hardest appointment I ever got in my whole life. The doctors in the practice required that all medical records from prior surgeries (related to this problem) be submitted before they would accept me as a patient. However, that does seem appropriate for an infectious disease doctor. After that, things have gone very well and he seems to care a lot about my recovery.
