Dr. Ceeccy Yang, MD

I was a patient of Dr Yang and under her care I felt as if I had to advocate for myself when I was starting to experience discomfort. I was 37 weeks pregnant and went in for a routine ultrasound and non stress test. When the ultrasound showed no movement, Dr. Yang had me on the stress test for two hours before sending me home. She explained that my baby was not showing movement and was not active and that was a concern but not enough of a concern to induce. I was told to come back the next day for another test. She said “Something is happening” that is all she left me with. I came back the next day after feeling so much pain in my abdomen. I stressed I needed to go to the hospital and be induced. I was treated like I was not important and that it was not a necessity to induce so early. ( she was going on vacation on fall break) Finally I complained enough to be heard and then she sent me to park west where I had my baby. We lost the baby 4 days later because my placenta had an… abrupt and my baby lost too much blood. If you want to be taken seriously with pain I do not recommend going to her.

Yang apparently thought I was there for a different reason than I was and my issue was not as important as compared to her other patients. She didn't even introduce herself before I was in the stirrups and all she said was "hi" when she finally arrived. And when I said the word "normal" ,obviously I meant normal for me ,not everyone else,and didn't need the lecture on the word "normal' I am me, not other people. I'm still not exactly what's wrong and exactly what these surgeries are supposed to do , that she had her nurse hand me pamphlets for on the way out,without any explanation as to what they were and what they meant. However, even though I didn't care for Yang, I will say that the physicians assistant I dealt with before was a complete delight as were most of the nurses. Front desk?...Eh. Still think Ill take my chances elsewhere.

Dr. Yang and the staff at Contemporary Women's Health are awesome. I switched from an offi e where I had been a patient for 6 years and they were all so mindful, thoughtful and courteous. Several staff members even commented on how much they all loved their jobs and it shows!!!

Dr. Yang is very friendly and open in her discussions. All her staff is courteous and helpful.

I am dismayed to see so many negative reviews about Dr. Yang as a surgeon on this site as anyone who watches TV knows that the problems with the mesh implants were discovered only in recent years and are not a reflection on the physician but on the product. It appalls me that someone would blame the surgeon for a product that she did not know was defective at the time she used it!! I had a completely different surgery and an excellent experience, both with Dr. Yang and her staff. The office is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I never felt like any problem I had was too insignificant or any concern I had was not addressed. They are a busy office, but rightly so, as they are highly in demand. I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.

Contemporary women's Health is a great office all the staff is friendly and the doctors are awesome. They have helped me so much. I would reccomend this office to all my friends!

Dr. Yang is an excellent physician.

She also did a TOT sling on me that I had to have removed by a different doctor because of mesh erosion & had a classic "TVT" put in place. It took (3) surgeries, a lot of pain & suffering, & almost my marriage to repair her mistake! DON'T LET HER DO A SLING ON YOU! GO TO A SPECIALIST!

Good gynocologist,,,,but not a good surgeon. She put in a mesh sling on my bladder and within 2 years I have had 2 more surgerys with other doctors to correct what she did.
