My primary care physician (Capital Health Plan) referred me to Dr. Hart. She readily diagnoses cellular pituitary issues as an abnormality not requiring motoring nor treatment. Her analysis of my medical reports and medication recommendation for hypertension, etc., has resulted in amazing results. Her recommendation for me to make healthy lifestyle changes has resulted in a 64-year-old man in perfect health. If Dr. Hart cannot help your situation, I suggest you make peace with the God of the Bible (Genesis 1:1).

While Dr. Hart was friendly, she put me on metformin, which after 6 months, provided only very mild relief from my symptoms. Most of my visits kept me waiting nearly two hours, and then when I did see the doctor or her assistant I was generally scolded for not losing weight, yet was given no direction as to how to do so. Since I quit using the birth control pill, my weight has usually been about 20 pounds over what it should be, despite years of trying with regular calorie counting and exercise. Rather than providing specific advice, she told me that a lot of her patients said the same thing but she didn't believe them. Those words should be a red flag coming from any doctor. After about 6 months, the indigestion and lack of results from Metformin led me to quit using it. Several months later I started doing some of my own research, and came across a doctor who specializes in bioidentical hormones. After using progesterone cream for just one month, I've started to see dramatic… improvements in the symptoms. While I'm continuing to exercise and eat as I have for the past couple of years, I'm starting to see a gradual weight loss around my midsection, have lot more energy, and feel stress so much less than before. The goal with progesterone cream is to retrain your body how to produce its own hormones overtime. So ideally I may not need it eventually. Metformin would be something you have to stay on the rest of your life. I am surprised that an endocrinologist did not even suggest progesterone as a possible treatment when all the research I've read ties it so closely to PCOS.

My mother's TSH has repeated shown a level close to 6.0. The most conservative cutoff of is 3.0, yet this doctor refused to test Free T3 and Free T4, and antibodies indicating Hashimoto's disease, which I myself have. If you have suspected hypothyroid issue, run! Find an integrative/holistic doctor who prescribes natural desiccated thyroid and doesn't dose according to the TSH while ignoring the clinical big picture and FT3/FT4.

The office staff is always friendly. The office is a bit drab and cramped, especially the rooms where the nurse takes your vitals. Dr. Hart seems to be genuine in her care of her patients. My experience with Dr. Hart was not that impressive. I am still suffering with hypo AND hyperthyroidism. After being treated by Dr. Hart for almost 3 years, I finally gave up to no avail. The options for treatment with Dr. Hart were very limited and what treatments were offered and received did nothing to treat the problems. While Dr. Hart was attentive and listened, that's as far as it went.

This office has the most inconsiderate office staff that I have ever dealt with. They are short, do not return calls, or respond to requests. THE WORST PART ABOUT THIS OFFICE IS THAT THEY REGULARLY NEGLECT SENDING REQUIRED INFORMATION TO INSURANCE COMPANIES. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY DIABETES SUPPLIES NUMEROUS TIMES. As a type 1 Juvenile Diabetes patient, I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MY INSULIN. WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS OUTDATED, RUDE, INCOMPETENT OFFICE. Your life may literally count on it.

I have been diabetic for about five years now, and I have only actually laid eyes on this doctor less than 10 times. I'm always seen by the ARNP, "Robin". I am considering changing physicians. You are taken in the back, vitals are taken, asked what meds you're on, wait in a room anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, asked what meds you're on again. They ask a few questions, then you're out of there after only spending 10 - 15 minutes with someone other than Dr. Hart. The last time I was there, I could hear staff giggling, discussing personal matters and I waited in the room for about 45 minutes! I thought they forgot about me. Why is this, especially when I arrive ahead of time and on time. Physicians and staff should be submitted to monthly rating by patients, and if their service goes down, they should start giving refunds for terrible service!

I'm grateful to Dr. Hart for her kindness in listening to my concerns and her ability to explain things to me. She is smart, understands her field and is a genuine nice person.

Dr. Hart has treated my Father and other family members for over a decade. She has so much compassion for and with her patients. She treats them like family. My Father has always hated going to the doctor until he visited her office. Her staff is also very caring; they seem to know every patient by name, always pleasant.
