Dr. Cerrene Nicole Giordano, MD

I was treated very very badly at Mt Sinai. After my biopsy tested positive for SCC skin cancer (the kind that spreads), I was referred to and made an appointment with Dr Cerrene Giordano at Mt Sinai Blavatnik for a simple excision. They changed my appointment 5 times. I later learned that Dr Giordano had been dropped from my insurance company. Instead of telling me the truth, they made the appointments anyway and strung me along for three months. I have the MyChart printouts to prove it. When my appointment finally happened after 3 months. Dr Giordano spent less than 20 minutes, cutting down 2+ layers deep which allowed her to charge twice as much. There were no tests done before or during the procedure even though the lesion had fallen off and healed over by then. She had already done 6 procedures by early afternoon. The nurse was no better. Her job was to keep the factory running. They didn’t even give enough time to let the steri strips dry properly, they fell off… immediately. One year later, I am left with a huge indented scar and dull pain whenever I move my body to forever remind me of this dehumanizing experience. Don’t bother calling the patient representation line, they don’t answer or call back. Having a cancer is bad enough. There is no excuse for dishonesty and abuse
