If you are concerned of unexplained illness, especially after travel, I highly recommend Dr. Calianga. He is so thorough in his examinations and in treatment. The sooner you get started, the quicker you are on your road to recovery!

Receptionist by the name of Maribel is in the wrong profession!! Very rude responses to questions addressed to her. Only reason why I remain with Dr. Calianga is because he has been my family Dr. for years. But that Maribel lady is very unprofessional!!

If you complain to the receptionists about waiting too long in the lobby, you will be bumped down below the person that you were in front of. They are not nice, absolutely no smiles and have a uncaring demeanor. Not all the receptionists are like this. I believe it is the one who has senority. She really needs to go. She is doing the Doctors in that facility a disservice. Dr. Calianga is a nice Dr. But I dislike making appointments because the receptionists act like dealing with you is a hassle.

Dr. Calianga was called to consult on a case where a young man was failing to respond to antibiotic therapy following emergency surgery. . He arrived within just a few minutes of the consult request. Dr. Calianga evaluated both the patient physically as well as the medical record and prescribed an additional specialty antibiotic. The patient began to slowly respond. When the cultures came back 3 days later, a multi-drug resistant organism was identified. The drug that Dr. Calianga had prescribed was the sole recommended drug to treat this superbug. Dr. Calianga clearly has exceptional diagnostic and treatment skills. The young man recovered from this very grave situation due to Dr. Calianga's timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment.
