Incredibly disappointed in this dental practice for my elderly mom. And this wasn’t even the first time they treated us inconsiderately. This time, my mom’s appointment was scheduled for 4p and it wasn’t until we patiently waited and asked 40 mins later did they tell me it was going to be a wait. After they finally called us in it was just to go over costs which was done by the front desk. This could have been done once we arrived instead of making us wait. It’s probably because my mom’s a Medicare patient and not self pay that we had to wait while others were called in. After wanting to get a second opinion on the thousands of dollars they were ready to charge my mom, I asked for a copy of her chart to take to a new dentist. We were again told we needed to wait because a release needed to be created. Well, it turned out to be another 20mins for a generic release that could have been filled out by staff in literally seconds. It is incredibly disheartening that the Latino community… isn’t treated better even by their own kind. I also wasn’t given a full copy of everything in her chart, which I will investigate whether is legal or not.
