Dr. Cesar Gilberto Brito

comes in to exam room 50 mins late. Doesn't look up from paper work tells you to have test done doesn't have any bed side manner personality stinks. Then says basicly no hope you will be on a catheter.

My Dr sent me to see Brito w/ a high PSA. He found out quickly I had prostate cancer and recommended surgery. He stayed after hours on a Friday so my spouse and I could ask all of our questions. He was patient, understanding and listened to all of our concerns. The surgery was very successful, I have had very little change in my life from prior to the surgery.

Dr. Brito is a very competent urologist who truly cares about his patients and gives 150% to each of them. He is always polite, humble, and compassionate. Scheduling can be a challenge; BUT, it’s no different than trying to eat at a good restaurant. The better ones have a longer wait. The mediocre/unexceptional ones will always have availability. I’ve had both and rather deal with tough scheduling than an incompetent doctor. My urologist prior to Dr Brito didn’t have any scheduling challenges. Unfortunately, he overlooked 2-years of bleeding and chasing ghosts in my kidneys with unnecessary and painful Ureteroscopy surgery. It took Dr Brito office to diagnose I had prostate cancer that was steadily progressing. Those who are recommending not to go to Dr. Brito might as well be digging their own graves. I have 1st hand experience where this doctor actually saved my life. 2-Days after discharge I developed complications and was in the ER. He was called in and at midnight; he… immediately responded and came in and had to roll-up his sleeves and put in some work. If it wasn’t for his quick and timely responsiveness, I wouldn’t be here. Afterwards I was in the hospital for many weeks and he was diligent and came bedside every single day. Not just Monday thru Friday, but the weekends too. So when you take into consideration that he just isn’t in his office everyday; but also performing surgeries, making bedside rounds at the hospital, and on-call at midnight for emergencies; he is remarkably reliable, committed, and manages his schedule quite well. Wouldn’t have anyone else.

Dr. Brito came highly recommended but treated us with such disrespect I was appalled. He was rude, arrogant, disrespectful and demeaning. He would not let us ask questions until he was through asking questions and then seemed upset if we need clarification. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a medical professional. There is just no excuse in the world for that type of behavior. My husband, who is looking at possible prostate cancer left the office more upset than when he went in. This is not a Dr. who was helpful but one who made us feel belittled. I definitely would NOT recommend him.

Dr. Brito was referred to me for surgery by a urologist I have a great amount of respect for but doesn't do laparoscopic surgery. His staff was friendly and helpful. I found Dr. Brito to be very knowledgeable, confident and humorous which made me feel very comfortable. His first meeting did not feel rushed even though time ran over and he ended up the last one in the office that night.

I have been seeing Dr. Brito for about 12 years. Prior to that I had seen at least 12-13 Urologists in CA and here in AZ. He is by far the absolute best. I wouldn't think of seeing anyone else.

If you want to wait 2 hours in the waiting room, Dr. Brito is your man. If you like a Dr. who comes to the appointment having misread your test results, you will like Dr. Brito.

So euphoricâ?¦after 2 KUBs, no more stones! Dr. Brito addressed my problem; took time to explain the ESWL procedure; performed the procedure; and I am now kidney stone free. I have complete confidence in him and words cannot express my gratitude!

Dr. Brito is my second urologist. A big improvement over the first. Very caring manner; concerned with patient comfort. Good at explaining diagonis and options for care. He is, however, a surgeon and surgery is his treatment of choicel I have yet to decide on a course of treatment for my diagnosis (prostate cancer), but if surgery is the answer, I feel comfortable with Dr. Brito.

I felt he was more interested in telling me how great he was than my cancer....
