not very pleasant doctor he is cold

I simply cannot give this doctor not even one star ... Since I am asked to rank him from 1 to 4 as part of the review, I gave him 1 star. But he does not even deserve to be ranked with any star, whatsoever. I simply wish I had read the reviews about him before having paid my first visit ... I still do not know why I kept going when something told me from the first day he is not a good professional. At ALL!!!. He is as cold as ice and ignores you during the whole visit. He does not even listen to a single word of what you say. While you are talking (only if you are lucky enough to say something) you can tell he is thinking about what he will tell you next to either humiliate you or force you to shut up so he can continue with his monologue â?¦ His sense of superiority, behaving at all times as if he were some kind of god, just proves he is inferior to anyone in the end. He has no work ethics either, badmouthing about others. His staff is as bad as he is, and no wonder why ... Even… when they may not be truly bad, the whole environment under his command cannot be any different than he is. I would like to let everyone out there know he is not the gastroenterologist to go. I hope everyone does the research I did not do from the very beginning so they can read these reviews before going. I regret so much my not having done it. Please stay away from this doctor as far as possible. That's my recommendation. I used to be his patient. Something curious â?¦ in the past few years, he moved out 3 times â?¦ Maybe it is a mere coincidence but I bet it has something to do with his performance.

Its exactly how the 30 yrs young female described it as, he does sit like if he's superior over you. In my visit, I've gathered a good amount of information on my stomach issues, but of course he didn't give me his attention while looking at paper work. O'phelan says "....are you physician?" i said "no" and i completely understand what he meant, i'm no one to say what condition i may have but at least hear me out. I read this information off the internet what MD's write THEMSELVES, i don't make up the symptoms or the condition i think i may have. He pretty much gave me an attitude like " This regular civilian doesn't know what he's talking about" I was really angry, i wanted to tell what was on my my mind, but the way i was raised, prevented from doing so. I also respectfully asked him to do specific lab i wanted but he told "No"....yes, Ceasar O'phelan said "No" EVEN THOUGH it wasn't going to cost HIM NOTHING. Also my symptoms were very similar to an other condition of the lab i… wanted, to at least get it out of the list of concerns but he disrespectfully denied, and brought up again cause i'm not a physician, I simply said "Okay, i understand" Anyways, long story short, my next appointment was really for lab results, if its an appointment for results then i should be concerned so I went in to see Cesar and he told me "you tested Negative" and that's it. So i said "i paid the co payment, the money i don't have, for you to tell me it was Negative?"...he said " yes and to see how you were doing" its OBVIOUS this so called Gastroenterologist is a "Doctor" just for the MONEY, not because he has passion for medicine and helping people. If anyone that area want to see a Gastroenterologist he is definitely NOT the one to go see, he's not there to help you but is right there for the MONEY. I also don't write reviews but this guy Cesar really got to me with his way of being a "Doctor". I know i wont be going back or recommend him to anyone i know. I do sorta feel bad for writing this review because i have heart but i definitely had to write something about him. I wish i would of seen the reviews before going to the visit.

Dr Ophelan has a chip on his shoulder. I went to see him two times for naseau and stomach issues. First of all he sits down at his desk like if he was superior over you. Then when i try to explain my story of the pain and frustration I was going thru he would just simply talk over me after only a few words he would stop me and rudely say thats not what I ask you and then proceed to say we are not talking about that yet. He spoke for about 20 mins of what he thought could be the issue and I said maybe one sentence. He then ask me if i have had black stools and I said yes and he plainly said to me are you sure? Probably not that is rare. I couldn't believe it, last time i check you were not in the restroom with me. Then he continue to talk down to me when i told him, I have seen another gastroenterologist and he ran some test and he said why did you bring them with you. i told him i can come by and bring them and he then told me to make sure I didn't omit any of the information. Why… would I do this I wanted help and I was searching for answers? After this visit i never wanted to see this man again but he order labs for me so out of desperation i went to have my blood drawn at lapcorp and when i called lapcorp they would not release the results to me so i call his office to get my results over the phone and they told me NO?? So I was still really understanding I said I would come by and pick up MY LAB from there office and they told me NO?? The office said I had to pay another copay to see the doctor for MY LAB RESULTS. So ask the office if I should wait to have the xray first and then come in for both results and the girl said the doc wants to follow up on the LABS no sense of directions. So I went along with that I come to office a second time and this time it was a higher copay because my insurance was not checked properly by the office although i was specifically told by the office the doctor was in-network, I was desperate so i paid the difference to see the doctor, as soon as I saw the doctor he told me was the result he received from the other dr where fax over incomplete and that I was suppose to call them like he told me the last time and that its that doctors office fault not his. I told him if he was not able to assist me with incomplete records I wanted my money back for the visit he said okay and then he proceed to tell me well then this is not going to work, I'll give you your money back and you would I have to see someone else. This man seems like he is so fed up with his profession and he doesn't show that he truly cares about what his patience are going thru. I am 30 year old woman so maybe he though I was high on fast food and that I just had a tummy ache so he didn't take me serious. Im the opposite of that I eat organic fresh foods daily and I hardly complain. Recently I was diagnose with crohn's disease by another gastroenterologist we are working together to fight this thing he is a really caring and understanding doctor and there office nurse does provide you with your test results over the phone or they can mail them to you. If you are the type of person that question things related to your health and do alot of research don't go to him he will not have patience for you and he will not show you sympathy or that he really cares. If you are going thru gastro issues please keep searching for another doctor don't waste your time and money with this doctor. I never write reviews but I was in shock by how i was treated by this doctor. I hope by writing this review I can help someone else.

I thought Doctor was nice but when he did the endoscopy procedure I woke up in the middle of procedure and i could feel tube down my throught the worst experience ever I had H-pylori and he didn't want to give me anti-biotics for another month this condition can turn into cancer i thought he is nuts when i wanted my lab report his office didn't even have medical release form they made me right a letter then they would give me what was rightfully mine i don't think they know what they are doing
