Don’t understand the negative reviews because I found Dr. Roca to be very warm, professional and caring regarding pain, surgery, and recovery. . He was very responsive to my concerns.

Dr. Roca is an amazing, caring doctor. He takes his time with you and does not just rush you into surgery. This will be my second rotator cuff surgery. This first, on my right shoulder, he did a great job and I healed very well with the help of therapy. I have every confidence that my left shoulder will recover just as well. The only thing I think they need to improve on is the wait time.

Avoid this man at all cost.

Dr Roca was quick to perform two major surgeries in two months and as far as pain? He could care less!

I absolutely love this doctor. I have only been to him for my initial visit and he was very thorough and didn't seem rushed. I was diagnosed with a partial rotator cuff tear. He has several options avalible for me because ever having to consider surgery. I asked about what I should take for pain and he prescribed me a very low dose non narcotic medication as well as told me about a medication over the counter I could try. I expected to have long waits between visit and tests and results but he ordered an ultrasound which was performed immediately then gave me the results within just a few minutes. One of the best orthopedic experiences I've ever had.

Roca is Very dismissive and lacking in people skills. Look elsewhere if you want results.

Yesterday my first visit at AOC and appt with Dr Roca. I have a shoulder injury. I found Dr Roca to be very patient, a good listener of my injury and pain areas. It was around lunch when I was taken to his exam room. His nurse and Dr Roca very patient and thorough. He was referred to me by my primary care physician. X-rays were taken, Dr Roca had those before his appt with me. He ordered ultrasound, then upon viewing those; ordered MRI. At no time did he appear rushed during my appt. Will find out soon the diagnosis on my shoulder. Also, I would like to add that I am in my 60's; have been to many doctors and offices during my lifetime. I have NEVER been to an office as large as AOC and experienced such friendliness and compassion from everyone! It was Halloween lots of patients. The security, sign in clerks at front desk, those taking me from room to room, ultrasound female specialist, the kind lady fitting me with shoulder/ arm Imobilzer, Dr Roca, Dr Roca's nurse, and so many more as… kind as could be to me and others. Not one person did I meet or see who was rude to patient or others. Not one with an "attitude." That is rare in a practice as large as AOC. I was thankful my PCP nurse scheduled my appt with Dr Roca. Now waiting for MRI. I was in great pain yesterday; I greatly appreciated the kindness of so many at AOC and especially Dr Roca.

Don't go to him. He is rude, and will not treat you properly. He lied to me, and told the insurance company false information to save them money. Dr Roca claimed I had inflamation and was fine. My new doctor found herniated discs

Dr Roca will not give you a fair disability rating. He cares about making sure insurance companies keep pumping him in paitients and not about treating you fairly

He has been my doctor for over 20 years and my husband's as well. He does not rush in and rush out, he is always polite and sits down and listens to you. Gives you options and does NOT just throw medication at you. He is an excellent doctor and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone needing his specialty. The administrative portion of his practice does need to be reviewed and modified. However the group has become very large and the new tablets used by the practice to get you signed in and payment made for services is quicker but either booking too many appointments for times available and automatic X-raying after checking in is where I feel the practice not the doctor starts to bog down the system.
