While waiting almost three hours online through BCBS portal to be seen regarding my and my children's multiple symptoms and looking to be tested for covid19. This doctor first words to me were, you told me a lot and your story is all over the place, what is that you want me to do. Most people who have this virus will be fine in a couple weeks. Your kids symptoms (cough high fevers 103, 102, diarrhea, coughs, congestion, irritability, lack of appetite, difficulty breathing for the past 7 days, and a negative flu test) are not symptoms of covid19. He dismissed my symptoms (high fever of 102 and Low grade before that for 6 days, headaches, digestive issues, chest tightness, winded easily and need to be tested, earache, congestion, dizziness and confusion) did not warrant a need for the test. I told him we were exposed to someone that tested positive and he told me that if I wanted a test to call Trump and tell him because he doesn't have the power to prescribe me a test. He raised his… voice and yelled pretty much the entire conversation. I had to end it because my children were crying in the background from their fevers and chills, and I was completely maxed on speaking with him further. I want to file a complaint as high up as I can. He should never tell at a patient, never dismiss their illness, let alone tell them to call Trump personally for a test. Can an attorney get in touch with me about this situation. Someone please put in touch with an attorney.

I had an appointment with this doc two days ago. He told me he sent my prescription, but he never did. Now I need to set up another appointment elsewhere. Not great.

I was a patient of Dr Sturlas for over 25 years. I started seeing him when he was still accepting Blue Cross and United Healthcare. Even tough for some unknown reason he stopped excepting my insurance, I still continued to see him as we had a very good relationship and i would pay him cash for office visits and all tests. He has now started his own "coverage plans" and no longer accepts cash. You must pay for one of his plans or he will no longer see you. After 25 years he has told both me and my wife that unless we buy one of his plans he refuses to see either one of us any longer. Keep in mind we both have good insurance. We have never had any problem paying him cash over the years..not one single issue. Now after 25 years he says "Purchase my plan or find another Dr" we are both very disappointed with Dr Sturla and the way he handled this whole situation. My wife had only 5 days of her thyroid prescription left and he still refused to see her or me unless we purchased one of… his personal plans. After all these years of paying you cash, even though i had coverage, We are both very disappointed in the way this whole situation was handled.
