Dr Best is amazing. By far one of the best doctors I have ever been to. Not only did he help our baby gain wait when he had dropped to the bottom of the one percentile, but respected all our decisions as parents without ever making us feel judged or wrong. He has helped us out with another child as well just through his honest and common sense advice. Always has our childs, and our families best interest in mind, never choosing big pharma or the medical institution over us. I just can't say enough good things, this doctor is truly a gem.

My child has a number of medical conditions requiring that he be followed by a number of physicians. Dr. Best is by far my favorite as hes spends the time to answer all our concerns/questions and to interact with my son beyond just doing the exam...my son usually hates doctors bu actually looks forward to seeing Dr. Best!!!

I could not be more happy with Dr. Best. He spent a lot of time with me and my son explaining my son's issue. My son usually hates to go to the doctor. This was not the case with Dr. Best. I would recommend Dr. Best to anyone looking for a pediatric GI doctor!.

Dr. Best explained my childs problem clearly and presented treatment options in a clear way. His interaction with my daughter, who is 5 years was very pleasant and he put her at ease very early on in the appointment.

Dr. Best seems like a fine doctor, but his bedside manner with my daughter wasn't all that great -- guessing he doesn't have children to know how to interact with them. At the end of the day, his bedside manner can be terrible as long as he is skilled, smart and knows what he is doing. I will be honest, he seems capable, but I didn't walk out the door feeling especially "good" about the next steps presented to me. In our discussion during my appointment, he seemed knowledgeable and explained the disease my daughter has in layman's terms, but I still wasn't reassured for some reason that my daughter's best interests were the focus. It felt more as though he was making recommendations based on a quota to complete so many procedures. I'm feeling like I need a second opinion and that rarely happens for me.
