Dr. Chad A Curlee, DO

This guy chad whom I won't call a medical doctor because he isn't worthy of that title, had no business of being in the healthcare field. He lacks basic human decency characteristics such as respect, caring and compassion. Chad has the worst bedside manner of any health care professional I've encountered, he's rude. Short and exhibits no human emotions .

Entering the office waiting area I've only seen one other person at the very most and sometimes no one. That should have been my first clue. Most offices are crowded or at least difficult to get an appt because the Doctors so awesome and in demand. Upon my first visit, I had 2 family present due to my health concerns. I thought Dr Curlee had the worst bedside manner of any Dr I've ever met. And as a nurse I've met alot of Dr's in the hospital/offices. I thought maybe it was just me until we got out of the office and my family made comments about Dr Curlee's bedside manner. Upon returning for other appt's I've continued to agree concerning his attitude like I'm wasting his time, he's doing me a favor by just being in the building, no care or compassion at all at any of the visits. He never enters the room smiling "Good morning" etc... Upon leaving this is no concern, hoping you get better. Actually I hope you don't get better, that way I can charge you again. The office staff has the… same flat affect he does. Please don't waste your time.

Should have read reviews first instead of going to him for location close to me. He is rude and refused to give me enough of an estrogen medication to last until my next annual until I complained to the Texas Medical Board, and then he blamed it on the receptionist. Trust me, find someone else.

My family has seen Dr. Curlee since 2012 and we are pleased with him. If you are looing for a super friendly dr. that is going to sugar coat things, this is not your Dr. He's straight forward and is honest. I trust in him and his staff.

Doctor was distracted and brusque. Ordered an unusual test. Nobody on staff bothered to check to see if my insurance would cover the test. I got stuck with a $430 lab bill. They said it was MY responsibility to check my insurance---yeah, because I know diagnosis codes, test names, etc. Give me a break. Oh, and it took 3 phone calls on my part to even get my results. Do NOT go to this doctor.

If you are obese don't expect to be treated with any sort of respect. He aparently doesn't want obese or senior patients who require medications. They can't get prescriptions right to save their life. Save yourself the trouble and find yourself a doctor that at least pretend to care.

I fell about two months ago. The Emergency Center I went to diagnosed me with a punctured lung and a wrist fracture and sent me to a local Hospital where they treated my lung but said my wrist was OK. After two months of wrist pain Dr. Curlee sent me to a local place for X-rays. A couple of hours later I got a call from Dr. Curlee's office saying that I had a healing fracture (but nowhere near healed) and referred me to an Orthopedic Dr. for follow-up treatment. I trust this Doc.

Moved a few months ago so I was looking for a new doc, it was easy to get an appointment. Office staff very nice, didn't have to wait for hours like I have at other physicians offices. He was easy to talk to and didn't give me that judgemental feeling that have had before with bother docs. As far as diagnosis, I am not really ''sick'' at the moment so I didn't need a diagnosis, I needed my regular prescriptions refilled and to establish a relationship with a new doc. He did pick up on a few things that other physicians have overlooked in the past, so that gave me a good feeling about his knowledge as a doc. I had to have blood drawn, they do bit in the office so you don't have to go to another location and his medical assistant that takes the blood is good at doing so.

Dr. Curlee is a vey young inexperienced doctor that has a lot to learn about how to deal with people. Although he completed medical school, he is lacking in his bedside manner and presents as insensitive and unfeeling. I would not recommend Dr. Curlee to anyone who feels that it is important for a physician to have the ability to put a patient at ease when providing medical care.
