He graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry in 1999. While there, he was awarded the Pierre Fauchard award for most outstanding clinical performance and served as the President of the Honor Council. Following his graduation, Dr. Follis served as an associate dentist for one year before opening his Franklin practice in the fall of 2000.
Dr. Follis is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which emphasizes the continued pursuit of excellence in cosmetic dentistry. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society. Dr. Follis is actively involved in the Pinnacle Study Club, which is a collaborative effort of local dentists and specialists to provide complex restorative dentistry to patients who …otherwise could not afford treatment. His passion is to provide beautiful and exceptional dentistry in a warm and friendly environment.
Dr. Follis and his wife, Darby, have a beautiful daughter, Grayson, and son, Griffin. In their leisure time, they enjoy spending time together as a family.
