Summary

I was born and raised in Dickson City Pennsylvania where I found an interest in medicine at a very early age. While attending Bishop OHara High School I was a member of the anatomy/premed club. There I was introduced to medicine and was able to see a variety of fields including Oral Surgery.

As an undergrad at The University of Scranton, I frequently externed at Holy Redeemer Hospital with the Oral Surgery department, increasing my passion in Oral Surgery. I graduated and was awarded the Dr. Bernard Shair Memorial Award from the Scranton Dental Society for scholarship, sportsmanship, humane qualities & leadership. I was president of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society and a member of Alpha Eplison Delta premedical Honor Society.

I then attended The University of Pennsylvania Dental School. I graduated toward the top of my class Magna Cum Laude and was active in many community projects, research and societies including the Psi Omega Fraternity. I also assisted in teaching gross anatomy during my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years, being promoted to head assistant in my 4th year. After receiving my doctorate, I continued at Penn receiving a certification in Advance Education in General Dentistry before going on to surgical residency.

I continued my Ivy League training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital and St. Raphaels Hospital in New Haven Connecticut. I have extensive training in all facets of oral & maxillofacial and reconstructive surgery. My training also includes expose to otolaryngology, craniofacial head and neck cancer reconstruction as well as cosmetic surgery. As a specialist in oral surgery, I provide a full range of surgical services to patients in the community. My interests include dental implant reconstruction, facial trauma surgery, and extraction of teeth especially wisdom teeth.

I have been told that I have a warm, gentle manner which compliments my care and concern for all of patients and referring doctors. During my career, I have trained diligently to stay abreast of the latest developments in surgical technology, techniques and advances in the dental sciences, which reflects on my brand new paperless and digital surgical office.
