Dr. Chad Benjamin Haller, MD

"I took my son in for a 1 pm appointment today and entered an overcrowded, run-down office (the aesthetics were simply AWFUL). With dozens of people in the waiting rooms, (yes, plural -- there were three waiting areas!) it was more than 80 minutes before we eventually got to see the doctor. I didn't quite understand what was happening since the office supposedly closed at 1:45. Why had they overbooked many people? Did the other two doctors not show up to work? We would have welcomed any kind of explanation from anyone. Around 2:20 the doctor briefly saw my son, checked his ability to read some numbers off the wall, put drops in his eyes, and sent us back to the waiting room. He never apologized for the long wait or explained what the drops were supposed to do, what he was checking, etc. Maybe he was having a bad day, but his communication skills were very poor. We then sat in the waiting room until we were the final patients in the entire office. They called us in around 2:40 to sit in… two chairs next to the receptionist's desk; there we could watch him hang out in his office for another ten minutes. Finally, he called us in for him to quickly check my son's eyes and tell us they are fine. (Not that I thought otherwise. . . his pediatrician told us to see Dr. Haller after an abnormal vision screening at his yearly physical.) I am sure Dr. Haller is competent, but his receptionists, his communication skills, and the dilapidated office need a huge overhaul. We definitely will never be going back there."

Dr. Haller was incredibly kind and gentle with my children and with my elderly mother. I don't care what anyone says about them, they are brilliant, kind, and extremely skilled at what they do. There is a reason why every single doctor in the area sends their patients to the Dr. Hallers. I have never seen any rudeness or negativity from the doctors or staff. I have been multiple times and have only seen patients being rude to the staff, but not the other way around. It is amazing what they know and how their bedside manner is superb.

I would give zero if possible. My daughter had an appointment with Dr. Chad Haller. He examined her. Not much talking and at the end he said, "She needs glasses." I asked when she would need to wear them. He shrugged and said, "Whenever she wants." I tried to get more information and he seemed annoyed. When I tried to understand the diagnosis and he responded as if the reasons were obvious. I kept thinking, "You're the eye doctor who just examined her. How am I supposed to know why she needs glasses? And if I just paid a $50 copay I deserve at least 5 minutes to get information about this new diagnosis of my daughter". I am a nurse and from experience I can say this doctor has very poor bedside manner. Luckily, I have a good insurance and can go to another eye doctor because I don't want to step a foot on this place again.

I love the Haller Doctors. They detected retinal holes and made sure it was treated immediately. I had no symptoms at all. They were thorough and complete and explained things very well. The retina doctor said they totally saved my vision. Thank god for such a complete exam! I fully trust them with my kids and elderly parents too. Staff is amazing!

Fast efficient, smart and great staff

He is quick and on-the-money with his diagnoses. Amazing eye doctor and surgeon. Highly recommend!

Dr. Haller and his staff have been truly incredible to me, my parents and kids. They are great will all different ages of patients and can even handle the tough patients. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I would not go anywhere else

He wasvery good and very efficient. He explained everything well. His brother and father are also very good. I have seen all 3. Also had great results in surgery from him. Very impresssed and I highly recommend

I am very please with Dr. haller's care in regards to my aunt. He did a thorough exam and diagnosed the problem. He informed us that cataract surgery was suggested, but he kept advising us that it was our choice, and not Necessary. I was impressed with his honest and didn't push us into surgery. In the end, we decided to go for the surgery and now my aunt is 20/20. We are very pleased with his skills and bedside manner.
